So as of this chapter I wonder if the author intends to pair Raku with both Chitoge and Onodera to resolve things neatly. It would be weird from going "Raku needs to realize he really likes both of them" to "Raku will end up with just one of them". I mean I guess the easiest way to do that is have the girls find out and not be cool with it so he has to think about his feelings more, but to me it would just seem better to instead be saying he needs to understand who he really likes rather than saying he likes both.
Gotta agree there. I mean, there's little to no chance that Raku would end up with both. I mean, I'd be okay with it, if only because actual canon three-way relationships are practically nonexistent and I like them, but what are the odds?
Going by how typical Nisekoi has been since its start, it's far more likely that Chitoge will win. It seems like the most likely outcome, sincerely.
Normally I'd agree but I dislike Onodera so she's not invited. Tsugumi can come though. If you know what I mean.
I suppose it would be wrong of me to ask someone to PM me the name of the group currently scanlating?
Ah, Korea, always here to save the scanlation day.
Hmm… On one hand I'm happy that someone finally spelled it out for Raku, but… the last romcom I've read where the hero fell in love with two girls had a rather… lukewarm conclusion.
Oh well, at least it seems the period of plot stagnation the series had at some point, is over for good.
Well, Chitoge said she'd share everything with her.
...
Seriously though I don't want such ending because it'd be just rewarding Raku for being an indecisive coward. There should be a limit to how convenient things can be. An ending where he gets everything and doesn't have to make any hard choices would feel cheap.
Well if he genuinely loves both like Marika says, that's not being an indecisive coward.
So this is going in a different direction than I thought. Now that he realizes he likes both the logical next step is for each of the girls to realize that the other likes him.
It feels like the pace has picked up here.
Assuming he doesn't go all denial on us. Again.
That would be really really stupid.
Over at My Anime List I noticed most people calling Marika best girl. It's funny how different opinions can be from site to site.
The most active and vocal posters here happen to like Chitoge (probably by default) and dislike Marika. For all I know fifty people just lurk in this thread and have the exact opposite opinion. Or don't lurk but don't like causing waifu wars.
Nisekoi ranked dead last for issue 52. Readers really hated the arc, apparently.
I can't imagine why.
Okay but seriously I hoped they disliked it for the obvious reason that it was terrible and not because it was a Marika sendoff and they just hated that idea on principle.

Y-san must have tracked down all the people who liked Nisekoi this week and burned their voting card.
It would be a shame for the series to be cancelled at the very moment it's slowly starting to move towards a conclusion. Maybe.

I thought the arc was okay. I'm indifferent towards Marika but this was different from anything else that happened in the series and was a good resolution and send off for her.
Also had Marika pounding Raku's feelings into his thick skull, that has to count for something.
That chapter may bring Nisekoi's ratings back up out of the cellar.
If you could change one thing about this series, what would it be?
remove all the cliffhanger copouts or at least tone them down
Give Onodera some actual chemistry with Raku. I don't actually want to hate her.
Make Raku and the girls want a harem with each other. I don't even read this manga but I think my suggestion would cut out 90% of the bullshit.
Hey, they did have some chemistry in the Christmas chapter. Not as much as Raku and Chitoge, but still.
…Otherwise, I would probably remove Haru. Yes she has become less annoying after she admitted her feelings, she's still unnecessary and not really funny. I would probably remove Yui too, for more or less the same reasons.
And I'd remove a shitton of filler chapters.
Awww, but I like Yui. Her interactions with everyone where hilarious and she feels more like a "real" person when we actually got to her flaws and such.

I would just remove the Cannot Spit It Out element between Raku and Kosaki, or at least tone it down a lot. I think that's really the only thing I took issue with.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but good job Marika! This was probably the only way to get through Raku's thick head. Just suggesting things and egging him about it allows him to hide his head in the sand, but now he'll have to confront reality.
Things are getting real. I wonder if we are jumping straight to the endgame, or if this will be stretched out some more.
