Boy, is Marika so heavily flawed that no one here seems to like her, and could care less about her leaving?
More or less, yeah.
I mean, I know she has some fans here, but most of the active posters just don't care.

Marika is occasionally kinda funny.
That's basically all I can say about her. Of course, that still puts her leagues ahead of certain other characters in this series, but that's not exactly setting the bar high.
Marika earns a lotta points in my book for being the only character actually open about their feelings. Now we can look forward to hundreds of more chapters about NO ONE IN THE CAST actually ever GETTING THEIR FOOT AHEAD and admiting they like someone. Yayyyyyyyy.
Chapter. I guess I should probably feel something with this but I just don't.
^ I think the story is trying to move into the endgame. They're coming to the end of their second year and we already have two haremettes down while two of the others, Haru and Tsugumi, have never really tried to be contenders in the first place.
You know, that reminds me. I have to give this manga credit for one thing: It's got a pretty clear endpoint. It's not going to last past graduation and the story generally doesn't stop the calendar from moving forward or try to cram an impossible amount of events into a single day or anything.

Hum⦠I guess it was the least worst possible way to end Chika's character arc. They beat some sense into her, but she didn't exactly become likeable or pitiable, so it's fine.
It's kinda funny that Marika having an illness is treated as some big reveal even though, errβ¦ everyone had kinda figured it out I think. Γ².Γ
One week from now, Chika follows her husband's advice fully and gets a divorce before trying to contact her high school crush, who is now happily married to a Chitoge clone. This doesn't stop her from trying.
You did it! You've figured out the planned Nisekoi spinoff manga this entire arc was building towards!

deviantArt | TwitterThis chapter, hell yeah! The arc is over and Marika is leaving! Hurray! That's two down, three more to go. I guess next is Haru, then Tsugumi and Onodera after that. Though I wonder if we'll move to the next elimination round immediately or we'll there be some breather chapters in between. It might be a good point to slow things down a bit.
Chika took this much time to realize that traditions are bullshit? Well, better late than never.
I was going to point that out, but that's Hana, right? Like, I once joked that everyone's mothers were friends in High school, but I didn't think it would actually be true.
And the one glomping her would be Onodera's mom?
...Maybe? While Hana is obvious, the other girl is kind of hard to tell with the facial features like that >O<.
Everyone's parents being mates would explain why they all spent a summer together as children, eh?
I did like that Chika was bitchy all the way to the end:"I hate you. I don't even want to see your face anymore." Somewhere, a gathering of therapists just broke out into an eye-gouging, ear biting brawl as they race towards this family.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Therapists? What's that?
It the guy who rapes obviously.
I thought that was Hana but decided that was silly and decided to ignore it. I will continue to ignore it until they shove their identities down my throat.
Man, now Marika is a Love Triangle war equivalent of Killed Off for Real. XD
You know what?
I used to hate her. A lot. Not only did she appear out of nowhere, she was also very abusive with her connections and towards everyone that wasn't Raku.
By the time I was done with Season 1, though? I...didn't quite like her, but hated her the least, simply because she's the only one that had enough guts to actually make advances towards Raku. It didn't stick, no, but I appreciated.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. So Redhawk won't be translating this (or any other series for that matter) anymore. So I wonder who's going to pick it up now.

Oh, there will probably be someone.
β¦The raw chaps have been removed from Senmanga too. =[
Awwww, I liked Red Hawk. They did a great job on any series they touched.
Nooo, my Fuuka fix...

Speaking of which, I like this cover better than the original.
Chapter. I really miss how much RHS cleaned the scans up. I was going to say no surprises, but then Marika kept on pushing the Chitoge ship and stated it outright to Raku and didn't let him deny it. I figured she'd only go halfway like everyone else before this.
Wait what kinda wish you'd mentioned the chapter/spoilers are out so I wouldn't have skim-read that spoiler...
Oh well, not like I'm gonna be sad about it or anything
