I myself recently finished Stardust Crusaders (Yes I started with Phantom Blood), and... Let's just say it's influenced how I write my action scenes.

I also have this really silly idea that Korrina should dress up as Jotaro Kujo during the Successor Korrina fight.

Had another idea regarding a crossover Trainer.

Welp, The next Chapter of my Nuzlocke fic is out now. There was a lot to cover in this chapter and I took a while to actually write all this. I hope it doesn't feel to rushed in some places.

I showed two different scenes in which a Pokemon was caught, but both using different methods. (i.e. One was more traditional, looking for a fight and got defeated; the other was recruited without battling and through a bit of coercion), which I always found interesting. It gives the new recruits more personality from where they first appear and prevents monotony. Also, saved me from having to write another action scene as long and detailed as that Pidgey one. Holy hell, that one had a lot soul from me put in to it.

Feedback and advice is greatly appreciated.

So I created a list of headcanon for voice actors for Sun and Moon.

Finally found the Pokemon fic that's been gnawing at the back of my tiny little mind for the past few days as I couldn't remember the title.

Two seconds on this thread, clicked back a couple of pages and there's a post where I said I had started reading the thing and more importantly what the story was called.

It's kinda quiet in here... I wanna leave a post saying that I updated that Pokémon Mystery Dungeon fanfic of mine, Of Dusk and Dawn, which I mentioned a while back, but at the same time, the only other thing I posted in here was about that, so it feels awkward making one post, not posting for months, and then making another post that's about the exact same thing as the first one. I've been meaning to post more often here, but I never felt that I had much to add. I suppose I'll just leave a link to the Deviantart folder I have with all five existing chapters (since I didn't post the last two times I updated this) and ask for some feedback, whether it be here or on DA. I suppose it's rather late for my thoughts in this, but I personally imagine Plumeria having the voice of Aimee Matchlock from Bravely Second and Gladion sounding like Viral.

I haven't touched my Pokemon Y Nuzlocke fic in a while due to getting Moon not long after its release, but when I do go back to it, I have some ideas.

I wonder how adding Z-moves would work. If I do end up including them, I may not try to shoehorn the whole thing with Z-Rings and Crystals and just simplify them in to "huge fancy moves that Pokemon sometimes use with all their energy". Because honestly, I don't think I can work them in to the plot that well and I just want to be able to possibly finish writing some fights with an Inferno Overdrive and such.

"A New Chance for Adventure" updated.

Given that Latias is officially on Bianca's team and the opening A/N talked about introducing yet another Legendary, I think I'm going to drop it. What I liked about the first entry likely isn't going to be returning any time ever.

What was what? The fic or what I liked about the first entry?

It's been a while but thankfully I have a review (that I sadly can't link directly to) to help me out. I'll try and sum it up.

What I enjoyed most about the previous story after its rather dull beginning was the character interactions. The plot was the usual Pokemon fair but it was the focus on the characters that made it really enjoyable. All of the characters displayed notable growth, the foundation was being laid very well for future relationships, and the entire thing had a feeling of camaraderie and fun. The story felt like a group of friends hanging out while trying to do something.

Then Part 2 came along and, after the first couple of chapters, all of that vanished. No one's really grown other than Team Rocket, prior character development and characterization is completely ignored, each chapter introduces about five different characters I'm expected to care about, and then there's all of the endless exposition. What was once a fun story about a group of friends became a story focused so much on The Plot and The World that The Characters are completely ignored. This isn't even The Plot driving The Characters rather than vice versa, this is The Characters being completely ignored in favor expounding on The Plot with new "characters" that are honestly completely interchangeable. The most damning moment of this is when we finally learn more about the Lati's backstory and we learn nothing about the Lati's because it's too busy showing off the "amazing" Shiny Legendary Beast Trio.

Then there's the fact that Bianca's presence is basically cancer and that the story is going out of its way to keep Latias as a damsel but I think you get the picture.

I'm not sure if anyone actually still plays it nowadays, but I would want to promote my fanfic of Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon: Here Comes The Hydroflames.

I find it kinda sad how the fanfic rec page of the Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon page has no fanfics at all, I wish to change that, and with that, more PSMD fanfics will pop up in the future.

This site only occasionally divides up its fanfic rec pages by the individual installments in a game series, and it's usually when the installments have particularly disparate casts and plots.

I wrote a fanfiction of my own, it's called "Changes".

It's about a town known as Eastridge, a ordinary American town. One day, however, a science experiment gone wrong releases a virus into the town that changes everything... All the characters are based on me, my family, and friends.

I just had a thought- how do you guys explain Pokémon gaining or losing type combinations or moves between generations? Like, Jigglypuff was Normal type, but it now Normal/Fairy. Or Arcanine could learn Teleport in gen 1, but afterwards it was taken out.

Gameplay and Story Segregation.

Of course, there are a few other ways. For example, games from Gen VI onward explicitly take place in an alternate universe so you can easily say that Fairy-type just doesn't exist in the world without Mega Evolution. The remakes are also the ones that are canon (at least, they're the ones listed in the official timeline) so that should help things a tad.

As for move pool discrepancies between gens, you can easily say that what moves a Pokemon can learn varies depending upon what region it's in.

... Wait, what? Gen VI and onwards happen in an alternate universe?

As far as I know, yeah. Whether or not the Ultimate Weapon fired determined whether or not Mega Evolution was a thing. If it was fired and Mega Evolution came to be, we get Gen VI and onward. If it didn't, we get Gens I-V.

So perhaps in the original universe, AZ never thought to do the whole Ultimate Weapon thing and let her go? Or perhaps he did attempt it, but it just backfired and didn't work?

Hell, how do people explain Revives?

Revives are tiny Philosopher's Stones that recharge a Pokemon's soul.
