Teens dress as Batman to catch pedophiles; cops not impressedHello, again!
And yes, it's got a infintismal pricetag compared to getting a used hard copy of the original game or buying an Xbox 360 game ($100+ USD, $10 for the remake), so it's worth its price, AND they added online multiplayer.
Feel free to vandalize me.Yeah Treasure really pulled it off with this one. I really like the fighting system, much deeper than most other beat em ups. It almost even feels like what Guilty Gear Isuka was trying to accomplish but failed at, combat wise. Also, in response to what you asked in the Saturn thread, I'd say that I really like how the branching paths add replay value and some variety to the playthroughs, so that everyone doesn't feel exactly like the last.
I think Randy is my favorite story mode character so far.
Treasure tends to be good at what they do, for the little amount of games that they produce. Radiant Silvergun is great, also. Not familiar with Guilty Gear, though.
Randy is my favorite, too. He's like the Cloud Strife of Guardian Heroes.

Feel free to vandalize me.I think you're getting him confused with Han, Randy is the spunky little mage kid with the staff and pet that follows him around.
Also Han predates Cloud by a year.
Guilty Gear has nothing to do with Treasure as it was made by Arc System Works, however there's some similarities from GH's combat system and GG's.

Fuck, now I have to get a X Box 360. And only for this.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.No, I mean Randy. He is the most balanced, with good attacks and magic, but usually has one glaring weakness (in this case, vitality. In Cloud's case, dexterity). He doesn't look anything like Cloud, though.
YES YOU DO.

Feel free to vandalize me.Cripes, it took them long enough! Definitely going to grab this later on in the afternoon.
Whatever happened, I'm pretty sure I didn't do it. Hopefully.Ohhhhh okay I thought you meant visually. I saw another guy elsewhere who made the same comparison but meant Han.
I have heard of the game, but did not play it. Saw some footage and decided to give it a try.
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheDsMan1One of my only problems for it is that the screen can get really cluttered easily, and sometimes you never know where in the FUCK you are.
Feel free to vandalize me.Whenever that happens I usually block and do the guard burst thingy(with Y if you're on the ground, B if you're in the air), you'll find yourself pretty easy then.
So far I've gotten endings 3 and 5, 3 I seem to get the most. I've beaten the game so far with Han twice, Randy and Genjirou. I almost beat it with Sarena, but I lost my last life on Sky Spirit when he had only 7 HP left. You think the undead guardian would've finished him especially since he fought nearly the entire battle for me, yet he kept getting hit and couldn't get that last swing. Personally, I find Sarena kind of weak, although I like her as a character.
And holy schnitzel is super Zur hard. Hardest final boss I've fought in the game so far.
I just need 4 more characters to unlock in vs.

I've beaten it once. On easy. Turns out it's actually a good deal harder on co-op, especially when your second player is the nuker mage that always takes you out with friendly fire. >.>
I almost beat it by myself against Golden Silver, but he literally killed me after he died. Annoying.
Oh, and Genjirou is my most favorite character. He's so nice and speedy and Lightning Palm is so fuckin' powerful...

One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderOkay so I finally beat it with Sarena, on the super Zur ending. Also got the Golden Silver ending with Han, and he was pretty tough.
Also, when I was using Han, the witches in the 2nd level(after the cyclops fight) killed me in one hit with their freeze spell from near full health. It was madness. THIS WAS ON NORMAL(remix). Sometimes the CPU can pull some ridiculous stuff. Once I saw two royal bots do a 100 hit combo on the undead warrior. It was hilarious.
Also, what's your favorite song in the game? Mine is Toki Meki Saxophone. Though the royal paladin guys from that level are annoying as hell.

I just realized...you can kill innocent children in this game. And then beat on their corpses. At least the game treats this as a horrible act that grants you negative karma.
Also, for massive hilarity, I went to versus, set 11 slots as lvl 100 nando on the same team and one level 200 undead warrior alone, and watched as he got gang raped with a 1000+ combo.

Beating on their corpses is actually pretty amusing. As is your second part. How long did that take? Ten minutes?

Feel free to vandalize me.Nah it was over within 2 minutes, I think. No more than 2 and a half. Undead Hero can't block or use force breaks so he gets trapped in humiliating bunny beatdown.
A team battle of undead heroes is fun to watch too, especially when they end up chain nuking the other team.
That is gold. Do you think that you level up too fast? I feel like I'm leveling every thirty seconds.
Feel free to vandalize me.On Original mode it's very easy to level up, on remix it's harder. I typically end up between 30-40 on the latter. I only played through Original mode once and ended up reaching level 45 or something. If you grind at the arena you'll end up way higher, I've heard of people getting 80-100.
Guardian Heroes, one of the finest beat em ups ever released. Or so I've heard.
And having finally played it, I can say it most definitely lives up to that claim. XBL owners needs to seriously get in on this game, it's one of the best releases this year so far. Hell I'd say it's one of the best we've ever had.
Ah, and thanks to the guys here who recommended it, it does not disappoint.
