I agree with what Routerie has been saying. I don't see the point of documenting every way fans can disagree about anything as separate tropes. Listing the most common causes in Broken Base makes sense, but having separate trope pages doesn't.

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere. This crowner's been up since November last year. I think it's time to call it.
Aye, calling in favour of clarifying Contested Sequel's description and cleaning up the current examples.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. Dickdoesn't cleaning up that kinda stuff not require a TRS thread though?
XP granted for befriending a giant magical spider! If that had been the only issue, it would be one thing, but it's not, and it needs to be done before this can be locked.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI could have sworn "split and move to appropriate tropes" was the leading choice. Now I see that it wasn't even on the crowner!

What would be the best way to fix the page?
I oppose the merge with Broken Base, since that trope's example list seems much more of a rat's nest.
