I'm pretty sure the answer to that is "no". Bimbo's are generally "dumb, but attractive" not necessarily promiscuous.
Fight smart, not fair.Indeed. Ros from Frasier is an excellent example, and she was hardly a bimbo.
Belief or disbelief rests with you.I don't think context outside of the image should factor into it. Not everyone knows the character and the image illustrates the trope - it's easily inferred the hearts can mean more than kissing. No need to show anything more explicit.

I agree with Deboss and Petrie. A character can be a bimbo without really getting around (Miss Buxley from Beetle Bailey is a good example), and a Really Gets Around character doesn't need to be a bimbo (the aforementioned Roz is an example of this).

Bimbo or not, I don't find the image to be that clear on its own.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyIt could stand to be touched up, especially to make the tree marks clearer.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. How bout panels 4-6 of this comic?
Always hiding my keys in the bug bucket, you bastard dog.Not an example; she's saying she'll be portrayed as the slut, which means she's not. At least, that's how I'm reading it.
Looks good to me. There are so many marks on that tree there's no roomm for more.
People seem to get awfully picky when it comes to images, despite the fact that they rarely seem to have any ideas for replacements themselves.
But yeah, to weigh in on the original topic, this trope is not about bimbos. There may well be many bimbos among the examples, but a polyamorous Ethical Slut who also, as it so happens, is The Smart Guy with a doctorate in nuclear physics would be just as straight an example.
Not sure if this should have any bearing in the discussion, but the current image just smacks of Fridge Logic.
How the hell did none of her other paramours fail to question the other hearts carved into the tree, especially as the number of them increased to truly ridiculous amounts?
Hmm... I'm not clear on whether the trope requires that the character be known to "really get around"; if not, then why not panels 3 and 4, or panels 3, 4 and 5 of that same comic? The laughter seems to me to imply that the character has had enough experience to be far from a virgin (although this could of course have been all with a single partner).
My Games & WritingRule of Funny. Seriously, that's how that's supposed to work.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Bimbo implies "really gets around", but "really gets around" doesn't imply bimbo.
Enh, kinda no *, but that is not important.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I'm not sure I buy that. Bimbo implies dumb, or at least it always has for as long as I've heard the term used.
Fight smart, not fair.Clock is set.
Looks fine to me.
I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!I like the picture, but I think the caption is stupid and should be removed.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Yeah, the caption is too long. And not very good. I would certainly not mind deleting/replacing it.
I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!Maybe something about running out of space on the tree would be good as a shortened caption.
Okay, the caption was not that long originally. It was just the first sentence. I fixed that.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Clock's up. I adjusted the tag to make it clear to not mess with the caption. Locking up.
Okay, from what I understand, the old picture supposedly suffered from being unclear (for some reason) and resulted in Fridge Logic Squick. (For those who don't know, it was a guy surrounded by a bunch of Monster Girls and children that looked vaguely like him.) The new pic works quite well to illustrate a character who has lots of paramours, but there's one other problem:
Katy Keene is not an example of the trope.
From the Wikipedia entry on the character:
Now, feel free to shoot me down if I'm wrong, but isn't being a "bimbo" the entire point to the trope? Isn't it supposed to be that the character has lots of sex, not that they get a lot of first base?
