Do the men on Ou AT do anything?
My various fanfics.Rumplestiltskin does stuff.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsApart from Rumple, Hook, Pan and sometimes Henry? Nope.
Girl power!
Robin Hood used to do stuff. Past few weeks he's...gotten laid and pestered his girlfriend to un-Popsicle his wife...yeah.
Compared to the unholy amount of shows and movies where women are little more than eye candy, it's not an issue that the men on this show are less active than the women.
I dunno, I just never like it. I don't see how men being less useful than an ovarian cyst fixes the problem. Wouldn't it be better to make both sexes competent, contributing members to the plot?
My various fanfics.I didn't say it would HELP. I said it wasn't an issue. It's one show, and there are useful men in it, so it really isn't one. It'll be an issue if it becomes a trend, but single shows doing their own things are never an issue. Any one of those other shows where women are eye candy isn't a problem. It's the fact that they're so prevalent. Or at least were. I don't know of too many shows now where women are objectified but otherwise useless.
Yes, I like OUAT for being a show where all the central characters and women and the main plots revolve around them. It's not as if the male characters are non-existent; the gender balance is just flipped relative to your typical show. If you're going to complain about OUAT in that regard, then for consistency's sake you should be complaining equally about underrepresentation of women on practically every other show on TV. Which wouldn't leave you with much time to complain about OUAT.

So... I am wondering if Cruela was that teen girl that befriended Emma and had the relevant birth mark.
I really don't think so. Even if they cast really different actresses they don't have the same mannerisms, the same interests, the same skin tone...
Well at least the writer's went with a I-Want-My-Beloved-To-Happy thing with Marion. Probably the easiest and least problematic way to go. Makes Robin look less of a douche at least.
EDIT: Well I was wrong. Poor Regina.
EDIT: Yess Belle. Tear Rumple apart yessssss

Long time coming to be honest.
He brought it on himself with that talk about Villains getting everything they want to be honest. That's what you get Rumple! That's what you get!
One Strip! One Strip! Was I the only one chuckling at Ursula working as an aquarium feeder? I wonder if they'll find Cruella working in a kennel XD. How are they going to get Maleficent back though?
The girl with the birthmark from Emma's flashbacks is the Wizard.
I really didn't expect Belle to push him out of the town.
Or for Cruella to have weird hypno eyes.
Or for Ursula to be a fish feeder.
But I'm happiest for Regina. Nice to see that she's still got a chance.

I'm expecting at some point the villains will get Jafar's lamp in order to recruit him.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.OOOOOH YES. I've only seen bits and pieces of Wonderland, but I would love to have Jafar back. I wonder how the Qo D ended up in The Land Without Magic in the first place? I mean besides Maleficent.
I waiting with baited breath for the inevitable Regina/Emma drunk fics XD

What I want to know is this:
Rumple can't re-enter the town two fold: He was ordered by Belle to never return, and he crossed the town line. So even if he tells them where the town is, he can't go back. So once he shows them where Storybrooke is, what will stop them from ditching him and doing their own thing?
One Strip! One Strip! There isn't any magic outside of Storybrooke, so...maybe her order is technically void?
Well, even if he gets back in, the order would technically force him to leave again. So again, how's he going to turn this around.
Plus, what will he do once he finds the author? Force Belle to love him? What good will that do?
One Strip! One Strip!Take his power and become all powerful.
Because power is his one true love.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. One thing I'm wondering . . . Did Belle not consider the possibility that the Gauntlet won't show you someone's true weakness if you ARE said weakness? I doubt it's true, but there's always a loophole.
Probably not, but in a show like this, every single detail potentially matters.
Late, but THE TUMBLR RECAP ROFL-COPTER.
I really wish that would have happened, and also I'm a little sad that regular viewers were still confused at some things.
