I Knew Who Started This Thread Before I Clicked On It.
(Can I come If I am a webcomic fan?)
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.I'll only talk about the ones that are kindof comic books anyways, like Dr. Mc Ninja.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Hey Draco, what do you think of the big reboot?
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.You mean DC? I dislike the reboot...they screwed up Batman.
I've been thinking of getting into DC, but I'm not sure where to start, given the sheer volume of continuity involved. (And let's face it, I'm not going to read Marvel again until it's confirmed that Alonso is going to be a better editor-in-chief than Quesada.)
For what it's worth, I'm a huge fan of Comic Critics. The author has a knack for explaining things in such a way that people who know little about comics can understand them.

That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something AwfulI read Euro, Disney and the occasional manga... :/ can I join?
Equipped with his five senses, man explores the universe around him and calls the adventure Science.A webcomic, about comics?
IT'S COMICEPTION!
(I apologize for that joke. Now excuse my while I archive binge.)
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Manga counts, right?
I don't think I've ever really read English-language comics except for newspaper-style ones like The Far Side, and webcomics.
FAR SIDE YEAH!
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Man, I'm a huge DC fan. ANY BOOSTER GOLD FANS HERE?
BOOSTER GOLD, YOU ADORABLE CORPORATE TOOL
(Okay, he's not a corporate tool anymore. Or he is. I'm not sure.)
Anyways, I'm on an Atomic Robo bend, which is awesome and made of win (Robots! Fighting dinosaurs! Mad scientist dinosaurs!)
Also, I'm reading Demon Knights, which is about the only post!DC relaunch book I actually care enough about to buy on the single issue releases. If it gets cancelled, I'm punching a baby.

I only read stuff from 2000 AD. The way I see it, if I'm already reading "The Galaxy's Greatest Comics", why read anything else?
...Except for that Doctor McNinja stuff. That shit's awesome.
That has to be one of the greatest comics of the 21st century.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.The comic I linked above had this to say on the subject, as part of its "52 Commandments":
The sad part is that the book will be dead inside a year. Absolutely. No question. We’re talking crib death here. Yeah, “Game of Thrones” is popular, but does anyone REALLY think that will translate into people buying a comic set in the Dark Ages?
. . . In summation: THOU SHALT BUY, AND ALSO SHALT THOU START A “SAVE Demon Knights” PETITION IMMEDIATELY.
I've been doing alot of back reading lately.
Well actually I've always back read, I don't like being too into current happenings because you run out of story and then are regulated to a monthly reading schedule. I've been reading alot of the original Gen 13 run. Tried Gail Simones reboot, didn't really care for it.
Transmetropolitan is the best comic. End of discussion.
Underneath the bridge The tarp has sprung a leak And the animals I've trapped have all become my petsI'm a fairley big DC Comics fan, Marvel can go suck it.
The smartest idiot you will ever meet.I'm a comics and webcomics fan. Not so much a superhero comics fan.
...Well, would Hellboy count as a superhero series? I've got more comics from that series than from any other.

Hellboy isn't a superhero.
Er, yeah, I like comics. Usually the more. . . Fairy-tale stuff primarily, like Hellboy and the Sandman.

Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-I'm not so much a fan of comics so much as I am a fan of certain comic characters. My favorite things in comics are the comic continuation of Smallville, Deadpool, Hellboy, Spawn, and Ninja Turtles. Quite the weird range of comic tastes, I know.
It can't be helped.Huge Marvel nerd here
Never take my advice. I make horrible decisions. And I'm kidding most of the time anyways.Hey, don't know if anybody's read Logicomix, but it's great.
Hey there.
