Maybe it was explained away in some detail that I missed, but how did the Andersons deflect any questions about what happened to their parents? Surely someone outside of the family must have wondered what happened to them.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyHoly shit, episode 9 was the best one yet. So many intense scenes and moments. One thing I don't get though is why didn't Kai have someone taste-test Ally's food before eating it himself? Yeah, she didn't poison him, but how did he know that this time?
3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541I wondered the same thing.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI'm glad people are standing up to Kai and can fluster him and he's not just some unflappable force.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. And done! What a trip!
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.Yeah, it was wild. I think this is one of the better seasons.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyAnd annoyingly but perhaps not surprisingly a chunk of the internet thinks that last part of the last episode was a "yay girl power rah rah rah" thing and a different chunk of the internet thinks that last part of the last episode was a "yay girl power rah rah rah" thing and are furious about it and they're both wrong.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I'm honestly still trying get to work out what they were trying to say. Power Corrupts?
Was it supposed to be like the end of Asylum where the nun said "When you look into the abyss, the abyss looks back"? They even used a character played by the same actress as Lana.
On that note, I can't believe that Ally turned down an interview with Lana.

I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI thought they were just saying immoral psychos shouldn't be in high political positions.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. So, a belated bit of levity. When Kai was telling his tale about Jesus supposedly resurrecting and high-fiving Jim Jones, between the over-the-top sacrilege and wonky effects- not to mention the happy coincidence of naming- I couldn't help but think of this bit from Reefer Madness: The Musical. Has anyone else seen it?
American Horror Story: Apocalypse is coming soon...
Considering that it's a crossover between Murder House and Coven, I hope it's better than the latter because it was my least favorite season.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencySo, Cult is on Netflix and it's October when I binge on horror. Is there anything redeeming about it or is it just pure modern political soapboxing?
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984I enjoyed watching the various gambits unfold, but that's just me. The acting was pretty good- Evan Peters is pretty magnetic. But yeah, it wasn't exactly subtle. (I also missed the first few episodes, which I think were considered the weakest, so I may not have the best picture.)
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.I recently binged on Cult in preparation for Apocalypse, and I hated the first half, the ridiculous political soapboxing being one reason for itnote .
It got better starting with the S.C.U.M. episode but that's still one of the most frustrating seasons yet.
This season is getting good, but I can't say why without spoiling a lot of things.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencySo uh, Season 9 just ended.
- I personally relate to Xavier Plimpton very, very much. I had a modeling photographer attempt to solicit uh, favors from me, and I rejected him. So seeing what happened to Xavier resonates with me. Real sad to see the ghosts are locked in to that land.
- So ultimately Brooke and Donna are the only living people left. Good thing the bad guys got what they deserved, but damn did it come at a heavy cost.
- Mr. Jingles was possibly the most complex and oddly sympathetic serial killer I've ever seen.
- Finn Wittrock really knocked it outta the park at the end.
Almost three years. Has AHS been any good, anything redeeming past Roanoke? I'm not even sure how many seasons there's been—Cult, Apocalypse, '80s-something?
I might even watch the first few seasons again since I really enjoyed them.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984I've only seen Cult but enjoyed it well enough.
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.
So, something I don't understand: How is Kai able to get all of those troops on his side, aware of his actions, and not say anything to the real authorities? Why are they just okay with the murders?
Anyway, that was a crazy episode. You had the Kai-Samuel-Winter human centipede thing which freaked me out but thankfully wasn't completed, you had that amazing flashback to Kai and Winter's visit to that guy from the dark web (that scared me for real), and then of course Ally confronting/joining Kai and Kai murdering his therapist brother. So much happened this week!
