Excuse me, but WTF DID I JUST WATCH?! The only way I can describe it is to say that is goes overboard in everything it does.

• Sufficiently Advanced Technology that only the screens show that it is not magic
• I won't even get started on the species that were shown... though I will mention the blob and the daemon as standout examples
• Name a fantasy character class and it is probably covered/used (even if we did not see them all this episode)
• The characterization and character designs are... taken to the extreme. No way I can adequately describe the numerous ways that various tropes were used PAINFULLY strait.
• Breaking the fourth wall to talk about a boob-grope blur
• I'll just assume the back-story/setting is better explained in the book, because I could not really understand it from the episode.

Watch at the risk of your sanity.

Seriously, I loved it. It was over the top, completely insane, and has some of the quirkiest characters I've seen all season. Hell, the main hero is outright perverted and proud of it, unlike most other protagonists in the comedy category now a days.

And yes, it was fucking insane and Widgety. Just my type!

Yeah, it was bizarre. Doesn't take itself seriously enough for me to be bothered it, though. And with the animation quality, I'll probably end up watching it, unless things get much worse in the next episode

Seems enjoyably high-energy to me. The absolute craziness and the pleasure with which it runs with it means I'm willing to forgive the blatant Expospeak and bloated cast.

The show makes up with energy what it lacks in... well... everything.

I found the Incubus dude to be one of the most fucked up things I've seen since Panty and Stocking, and that says something.

Same with the Red blob, the living mecha thing that resembles Justice from Guilty Gear, and the perv ninja.
