Does anyone have a guess at what's Nitta's real role on this? I haven't got a clue myself really. But I have a slight feeling it isn't just as some sex manservant for Kanoko...

As Kanoko didn't know about the arrangement until at least after Nitta was forced into doing it, you're probably right. I'm betting the stepmother is pulling the strings: She is too nice not to be a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing.

In my opinion, this is one of the best mangas I've read recently. The Character Development is believable, the plot is fantastic, the sex shown doesn't really detract from overall enjoyability, and I think Kano is the best Deconstruction of an Ojou and Tsundere that I've ever seen.
