Supergirl—Spirit world

After sharing her happiness with Korra's revival. Supergirl left her after the ice queen took her to be healed, as se didn't want to interfere with her recovery. She returned to look out for The doctor, Maria and Armani.

Super-girl then noticed Armani considering killing Azula, after she tried to steal his body.

"I believe our ability to forgive is what sets us a part from bad people and everyone deserves a second chance , she said after the real Maria pleaded for Azula. " But whatever you choose, you have my support as a friend," Supergirl told Armani giving a friendly smile and putting her hand on his shoulder, aknowledging how dangerous Azula was. Regardless she was sure Armani would make the right choice, whatever that would be.

Chaika Trabant - We Interrupt Your Meal To Bring You An Injured Girl

"Nice meet too!" Chaika replied cheerfully, clapping her hands when Sokka mentioned that they should all go get some food. "Yes! Want!"

Without waiting, she hurriedly skipped towards the exit, coffin on her back... until a portal opened right in front of her, and some people started coming out. An ice platform with three people, one of which was quite injured, floated out of it. Unfortunately, she didn't have anything to treat that kind of wounds, so she limited herself to just staring at the girl with a worried expression, and then glancing at the other people, unsure of what was going to happen.

MAGIC Spirit World

Events sometimes have an annoying tendency of proceeding quite rapidly, regardless of personal input. Seiga had experienced it many times before. It was always slightly irksome. Oh well, she had gotten an entertaining show for her trouble.

"Maria" was out, Maria was back in.

"Your body?" said the hermit, still holding it. "I thought we'd agreed on it, if you die, it's mine."

Republic City

"Oh great," said Nitori, in a rather monotone fashion. "Seems they're alright. We're still going to Kwong's, right?"

Maria

Well, if I leave right now, Princess can just fly back in," Maria explained to Seiga the current situation. "That and the body wasn't dead, just without spirit."

B.B. Hood

"Oh, shit," B.B. Hood said as she saw Elsa bring in Asami and Korra with Korra looking like she was in serious condition. "Umm, anyone here with medical knowledge or something like that?!"

"Oh fine, be like that," Seiga pouted. Though it was more for show than anything else.

She thought on it a moment, then chuckled.

"How about I slit your throat then? She wouldn't be able to possess it," she purred. "And I'll get two adorable Marias."

Team Science, Spirit World

Gavrill snarled at the portal as their foe slinked away, but with the Doctor Vaatu sufficiently beaten down her mania was beginning to subside to the point where she could form coherent sentences again.

"I am so fucking sick of spirits..."

She seemed to notice that she was still holding the Doctor up by his collar, before callously tossing his unconscious body aside like a ragdoll and walking towards the portal..

Ryuko - Waiting....

Ryuko stood crossarmed around the exit of the arena, waiting for the others in the group to finish up and leave for their victory buffet at Kwong's. She checked her wrist pretending to check the time and slung the scissor blade over her shoulder. "Hey guys, are we going to stay here all night or are we gonna-" she started to say out loud to the group before a portal opened up in the middle of the arena. Ryuko pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed.

Looks like we have to wait a while, Ryuko...    Senketsu mumbled as Ryuko walked over to the portal and saw the Spirit World group starting to leave the portal. "'Sup everybody. Looks like you went through hell..." she said with a tired expression.

Erza - Missed the boat entirely

With Doctor Vaatu finally defeated, Erza exhaled in exhaustion at the two battles she has just been through. After a while, a portal opened up in front of the group and looking at the other side was another group of people appearing to greet them from their location. With a little caution, Erza came over and walked through the portal with the rest of the others.

Vile, Spirit world

And he was down, Vile was not sure what it was that brought Vaatu down for good but he had no complaints as long as that trash excuse of a spirit was gone and dealt with. Vaatu seemed to vanish into the rift and it was seemingly shut, perhaps the dark spirit faced oblivion on the other side but whatever it was it was a completed objective.

Looking towards the crater that the battered Doctor was in Vile could not help but wander closer, he had to atleast see the face of the man who caused minor damage to his body and jammed his gun before he left through the newly opened portal, and perhaps he would be able to find the piece of that multiversal object that he was brought to find in the first place.

As Vile wandered towards the crater he found out that he was not the only one had the idea to investigate the crash site, It was one of the people who he had fought Vaatu along side, It also seemed like he was the one who had bright idea of gathering the energy that backfired on them. Paying little heed to Urza, Vile began his own search of the crater, If there was nothing of Value Vile would simply leave through the portal after he saw the Doctor, after all what did have to lose?

Spirit World

Labrys watched as Vaatu flew into the air only to decent as some twisted meteor of the elements. She didn't know what to do at that moment other than hope that Korra could do something. She did notice when he started to slow, and eventually falter. It looked like Korra's plan worked, as Vaatu was defeated and expelled from the Doctor's body. The dark god could only retreat, completely and utterly defeated. The gynoid decided to descend to the ground, confident that everything was over.

On her way down to the ground, she noticed people crowding around Korra, shortly before the ice lady whisked her away into a portal that had appeared for them. In the crater of the crash site, Gavrill tossed aside the unconscious Doctor to the side. Labrys swooped in and caught him before he crashed into the ground, shooting Gavrill a short glare. With a sigh she carried the Doctor in her arms and walked through the portal, surprised to find the rest of the group waiting for them.

"You guys throwin' a party or somethin'?" She remarked half-heartedly. Honestly part of her way still worried about Korra, but the others were taking care of that.

Armani: Getting all the mental bitches. Also the voices in his head are fighting with each other — should get that checked out

The Princess winced as Armani's hands managed to connect with her neck- the side effects of being too angry at the moment to properly take on an incorporeal form. She spun around to face him, her 'grin' moving up and down to simulate the movement of a mouth. "Fine. You want to do it like this? Let's do it like this?" She said, before 'stabbing' Armani with her arms, trying to possess him and kick the boy's spirit out.

Armani's stance broke momentarily as her arms pierced him, gasping as he felt her begin to rip at him...before he grinned devilishly. "Yeah, like that". He wrapped his arms around her, as if trying to pull her further in, and so she moved to possess him...

...

...and just before the spirit could reach his innermost self and pull it out, she felt an odd sensation come over her, a presence suddenly entwining itself with hers. She barely had time to understand it before her surroundings changed. Suddenly, all there was, was white mist.

The obscuring wisps of white that plagued her vision and hearing entombed her for several seconds, before they began to dissipate. When they cleared and she was able to see again, she found herself standing alone in an ethereal forest. Images of white trees seemed to flicker and fade in the background, their distance hard to make out. The ground she was on was more corporal at least; an arena of a grassfield with a large tree in its middle that unlike its distant brethren was quite solid.

It was quiet and, besides the flickering, still as a forgotten memory.

"Poor little vagrant spirit..." A dark, low chuckle rang out through the ethereal plane.

"She took the bait and hook without any foresight. Lost in the woods, without an escape in sight...and the wolves howling grow ever closer..." The princess heard the howls of wolves, indeed, just off in the distance, as well as the numerous roars of all the predators she could name, and some she could not.

A woman stepped out from behind the tree; she looked oddly like the boy that had just challenged her. Red hair flowed in lockes down to her midsection, a single braided ponytail among them. Dressed in hunters garb, her silver eyes were slitted and her grin sinister. Beautiful, perhaps, but the violence playing in her eyes betrayed her nature. An odd blend of grace and savagery.

"Tell me, my lost phantom", Instinct coo'd as she took a slow, teasing step forward. "Are you afraid?"

"What are you supposed to be?" Princess scoffed, adopting the vague shape of a woman with very sharp nails. "This boy's guardian? How ridiculous."

"Let me tell you how this is going to go; you can face me and die, or I can kill you quickly and painlessly. I don't want all this idiotic baggage— all I want is this meatbag to obey my commands so I can get out of here and enjoy the mortal world once more."

She waved her sharp nails (which had been slowly transforming into blades over the course of her speech) in front of her face, grinning. "So, what will it be?"

For a small time, all the reply she had were Instinct's eyes peering at her 'claws'. She cocked her head slightly to the side, looking amused about something. Her eyes flickered back to the spirit's. "You are as clueless as you are arrogant; even a fly would know well when it is trapped in a web. What would happen, should I have not interfered, had I not taken an interest in matters personally? ...you will never know now I suppose." The princess's presumptuously superior attitude was so misplaced in Instinct's eyes that it only served to make the princess more delectable. Perhaps she might even prove a worthy hunt, if Instinct had gotten lucky.

Instinct stopped several feet away from the princess, her smile faded as she looked obviously down on her. "I am no guardian, small princess. I am so much worse, the shadow that exists in even a mind such as yours. I am that which gives you glee when you kill, the call of the blood when the moon is high and when your thirst boils."

Instinct's own nails grew as well; white light surrounded her much like Armani had — except hers was much more controlled, flowing slowly around her in a whirlpool of a display — and some collected on the ends of her fingers until it almost appeared to harden into claws of her own.

"Don't worry, girl. I won't hurry with you. I don't want this to be over too quickly. You, who was too weak in life to conquer anything, who now has to hang off of others for their power, like a leach", she practically purred. Her words had an immediate effect on the princess, rage already beginning to surface, and Instinct's sinister grin widened in glee. "How does it feel to be so weak, princess? To know that after all your efforts — finally finding a new host to trick, freeing Vaatu even — you were once again proven a miserable leach, by people who did not even command power like you once did?" Instinct started walking towards her again, the distance being closed now, her arms remaining lazily at her side — to toy with the insect caught in her net.

"... who are you?!" The Princess demanded, her grin turning into a ungrateful frown as she clenched her fists. "How dare you speak ill of me. You don't even know half of the things I've ever done in my lifetime, you peasant! While you were learning to spell your name, I was being trained to conquer entire nations! Do you realize what that means? DO YOU?!"

Instinct grinned at her tantrum. "I know not how your life has played out, girl, but I do know how you act. If you are so impressive, then show me now." She raised one clawed hand in challenge.

The princess met it eagerly, charging to begin blindly attacking Instinct, trying to slash her up into as many pieces as possible.

"It's not my fault she loved him more! I was the prodigy child, I was the one who deserved it all! I was the Fire Lady, the first one, the greatest! The only reason they won, the only reason they defeated me, is because of HER! SHE HELPED THEM! That monster... even years later, she still haunts me. You were sent by her, weren't you... WEREN'T YOU?!" The Princess continued, her voice growing more and more shrill as her attacks got wilder and wilder. "No matter. You don't know what you're saying, peasant, and you're going to PAY FOR IT!"

For every slash that she threw, Instinct sidestepped. For every punch, Instinct deflected. She was quicker than lightning itself, and she appeared not to be troubled no matter how powerful the blows came.

Instinct's grin transformed into a frown, however, her enthusiasm fading as the psychotic spirit continued to rant, until her expression had morphed into disgust. This hunt held no glory for her now; her opponent wasn't the powerful enemy she had hoped, but a sick welp. "...Hmm. Is *block* this all *block* the reason *deflect* you use to explain yourself? All — of the power — you can muster? All — that you can use — to drive yourself now?" She snorted. "This hunt has already ended."

Instinct's eyes flashed, and she moved. The princess had no time to react before something passed straight through her, like hell's knife through butter. A horrid, wet noise filled the air, and ghostly blood sprayed onto the grass. Instinct's clawed, ichor covered hand had gone straight through the princess's abdomen and stuck gruesomely out.

"Cease your grating banter. This hunt was over before I had ever arrived.".

The Princess yelped when she felt Instinct's hand claw into her, but she did not give up. No, instead, even as blood- or at least what this mind imagined as blood- dripped from her lips, she grinned. Grabbing Instinct's arm, she pushed it deeper, watching as it pierced through even more guts until Instinct was just close enough.

"How does it feel? Inside me?" She hissed, almost like a snake. Well, not almost like a snake. Good thing about spirits, they could change shapes. And in that moment, the Princess' head twisted and mangled itself until it resembled a snake, which immediately opened its mouth and sped forward, trying to engulf Instinct's head on one go.

Unfortunately for her, the mood for toying around was one Instinct was no longer in. Instinct rolled her head to the side of the strike. With the same motion, she pivoted her body and swung the arm that was still the princess over her head, carrying the unfortunate princess with it and bringing her down hard on her snake head.

CRASH

The ground itself shook as she slammed into it like she had just fallen multiple stories. Force rocketed up her spine and body, all of which came crashing down onto her head. "GRAH!" The Princess yelped, squirming on the floor slowly as a small lake of blood started to form up underneath it. Her snake head saved her life, her snake neck bending rather than snapping; if it were still human all that would have been left on the ground would be a horribly indescribable mess that would have once been her cranium. The force of the impact easily cracked her snake skull nonetheless, just barely avoiding being pulverized outright. Was she lucky, or had her foe held back?

"So... what are you going to do now, huh? Kill me?" She grinned, despite her horrible conditions and the fact that grinning actually made her feel more pain. "You know I'll just come back, over and over. That's the thing about spirits, peasant. They can't really be killed, can they?"

Instinct stood up after downing her prey, flicking her fingers to dispel her claws.

"On the contrary, girl, I have seen firsthand how the soul can be destroyed." She seemed to be finished fighting for now, and made no move yet to finish her prey off for some reason. She crouched low next to the spirit. "Do you truly believe that I could not find the way to end you, even now? You wouldn't even be our first spirit taken." She studied her, thinking, her wrists rolling idly as she debated what was to be her fate.

"Find a way to end me? Oh no. I'm pretty sure you could do that. Now if you would act on it... different story." The Princess snarled. "I know all you wannabe hero types. All bark and no bite. Are you the boy's inner darkness? That's cute. Still, I don't believe you would go that extra mile and actually kill me. That would require some guts. And a slightly sadomasochistic personality."

Instinct didn't seem to really listen to what she was saying, as she spat out false assumptions about Instinct's character; she still looked disgusted with the creature beneath her, but for the moment comtemplative as well.

"Here you lie broken, and yet you still remain ever clueless. How many defeats have you suffered, yet you still do not learn? How many more shall it take before you realize exactly why it is that you always are beaten. Why your mother favored your brother, why he was victorious when he lacked your abilities." Her voice turned scorning. "You are incapable of seeing the truth, hiding behind your blame for others — worst of all you dare to blame your mother, the very woman who brought you into being", she snapped in disgust.

That's when she noticed the purple fog of the spirit had begun to seep slowly into her.

The princess's broken grin brightened up. "Oh yes. Forgot to mention that. Look down, dearie."

The wispy purple form was slowly seeping into Instinct's own body, so much so that her legs were already connected with the Princess' legs. "Do you know how many years I've been a spirit? Do you know how many years I wandered this idiotic world? I lost count of it myself. But on the way, I picked up a few tricks. Sure, we may be in that boy's body, but spirit rules are spirit rules... have you heard how stronger spirits can consume others?"

The Princess stifled a chuckle, and Instinct's arm was now merged with the Princess' arm. "Hm. I wonder how you'll taste. I've never eaten a voice in someone's head before. I've also never had a boy's body... so many different parts... ought to be interesting, don't you think?" The Princess taunted, as her cheek slowly connected with Instinct's cheek, her face mimicking Instinct's expression to the smallest detail.

Why yes, even now she could feel a dark pressure on the back of her own consciousness, Instinct noted with curiosity rather than fear...

She merely stared at the princess and their merging forms. "....hehe...hehehe." Instinct giggled genuinely, and despite trying to hold it in visibly she couldn't stop it, and soon the giggling had become full out laughter, the mist of the background echoing with her. "Your —Your foolhardy stubbornness is simply implacable, you foolish girl!", she gasped out.

Then she looked down into the princess's eyes, her slits glistening. "And so you stubbornly continue down the same path as before. There is no hope for you, child, and now I know beyond a doubt that you will always be a threat in your sheer lunacy; a threat to this world, a threat to the people my pup travels with, and you remain to threaten him, which I will not forgive. He may wish you to live, and so does the woman-with-spirit-companions, but they are naive. This I will not allow, not allow you to continue to do as your nature compels you, and so you shall never return. If they would not see you killed, then..."

Instead of trying to shove her away, Instinct grabbed her with her free arm, never moving her eyes from hers. "Come, my rabid leach."

The princess's essence entered into Instinct's body without protest, and once inside she would feel...next to nothing. The form she was moving into was hollow, even eldritch. Whatever existed within, it was no spirit. The only thing she could feel within Instinct, was the white mist that surrounded them, the traces of light that played at the edge of her perception. If she attempted to move further, she would feel her essence begin to scatter and flay, drifting too away into the endless white. Then Instinct was gone, blinked away in a flash. The princess was now alone in the grassy arena, with only the slight dent in the ground nearby and her own blood to indicate that anything had ever transpired here.

The peace did not last long; the ethereal mist began to move in, quickly blotting out the ground and then the tree, and then the white mist covered all. "Here is your prison your hydrophobia has won you.", Instinct's voice rang out but it seemed to come from all around. "Enjoy, you who are eternally lost. I shall craft this new existence to reflect the fruits of all of your labours."

After a few seconds of nothing but mist, it slowly began to clear again. Finally, those ethereal, pure white flickering trees appeared again — this time she stood among them. Everywhere around her, an endless ethereal forest expanded into the distance, seemingly going on forever. Movements of moonlight fog were her sky, their distances unknown and, for some reason, disturbing to consider for too long. An endless flickering world of moonlight, forest and mist.

"Poor little vagrant spirit..." A dark, low chuckle rang out through the ethereal plane.

"She took the bait and hook without any foresight." Instinct's voice grew distant until it was a whisper through the wood. "Lost in the woods, without an escape in sight..." And then silence.

part 2

TL;DR part 1: Instinct traps Azula in Armani's brain after a one sided fight

Back in the real world, the purple spirit simply ceased to exist; one moment she was merging with Armani, the next she was gone.

Armani stood there, panting and shivering as his pent up anger slowly receded now that his foe was gone. He felt more tired than anything now.

"Sorry Korra..." he muttered, sadness being allowed to set in now.

~You used me~, Instinct noted neutrally and thankfully breaking him from his brooding thoughts. She didn't sound angry though.

Well, not necessarily; if she didn't try to possess me then I would have handled her myself. Besides, every good huntress needs some practice every now and then, he ended rather teasingly.

He felt her role her eyes in the back of his hindbrain. ~Just so you know, I still say we should have annihilated her. This woman was gone, a sociopathic killer of grand proportions and ambitions. Rabid dogs need to be put down.~

Armani glumly flickered his eyes upwards. I know...we shouldn't have just killed her though. I'm not ready for that kind of resolve; I don't think I ever should be for that matter.

~Soft boy...You're worried about what Maria would have thought as well, aren't you.~

Armani rubbed a shoulder. Heh, well it wouldn't be very fun having your friends think you're a killer, I guess is a part of it.

She sighed. ~One day boy...At any rate, I have confined her here with me for now.~

Armani looked slightly perturbed. What is it with my head and holding psychopathic women... He sighed. Still, good idea. She can't escape now. Guess the tides have certainly turned against out possession-happy friend.

~Yes...but boy, we need to find something to offload this one into immediately. The longer she stays here...the higher the chance of something going wrong.~

Armani raised his eyebrows. Yeaaaaaah, let's uh...get the others on that before I wind up turning into a permanent soul carrying jar. I'm depressed enough having to carry you around.

~Oh believe me boy, the depression is but a fraction of what I feel having to put up with you for our entire lifetime~

Kara put her hand on his shoulder. He glanced behind him. "Well that's taken care of then. Thanks you two."

He gently slid her hand off and looked at the two women (well and seiga technically, due to her holding Maria). "She was a lot more than just a body snatcher; she was a vicious killer and a lot of other things. She's ah, under wraps at the moment", he tapped his forehead, "but we really need to find a more permanent prison for her soon."

"...Where is everyone, anyway?" He glanced around and noticed the portal. "Ah. Well at least we don't have to take the long way around."

Maria

"Eep," Maria smiled, but looked mostly confused at how that might work, but then Armani interrupted the scene, detailing the situation with Princess. "There are ways to trap a spirit... Certainly, Donatello's method to trap me was one."

"It will require research and some help from Seiga, but I believe it can be done," Maria concluded to Armani, nodding to him.

Sasuke murmured when he saw the portal. He noted that Gavrill already went through it, so he made the decision to go inside too.

"I can't be too careful."

As he made his walk towards it, he casually holstered his sidearm and instead, had his Kakuremaru at the ready.

Mordin Solus - Doctor, Doctor...

Mordin, after shepherding (heh) the injured parties to an appropriate medical facility (and handing the doctors a small ultrasonic device to take the omnigel off the wounds once they had healed), had made his way to the Arena just in time for Korra to come through the portal.

He rushed over, and began scanning Korra for internal injuries besides the obvious wound.

"Am doctor. Can help."

"Here," Atrocitus said to Mordin, moving aside to give the doctor room. "I have been keeping her stabilized by making sure she doesn't bleed out, but there is still the risk of infection and internal injuries as well."

"Thank you." Asami whispered to Elsa as she covered the wounded area in Korra's chest, not letting go of her initially as they set the Avatar down in the bed of snow. Atrocitus' slight freak out attracted the attention of the adults- especially Tenzin, who freaked out even more at the sight of a wounded Korra.

"Stand aside!" He barked, falling to his knees near Korra as Lin rolled up her shirt to see... nothing. No chest wounds, no visible wounds at all, but still, it was clear from Korra's wheezing and the blood coming out of her mouth in spurts that she was in pain. "What's going on with her?" He frantically asked Lin, holding Korra's head up as her eyes darted around.

"I can help her!" The Twelfth Doctor announced, pulling out his screwdriver and scanning Korra's belly. "Oh. Oh this is bad." He muttered, looking at his sonic screwdriver. Mordin's scans would confirm that although the wounds were internal, it was impossible to discern what exactly was going on with Korra. Her body was just fine, except for a few minor broken bones and internal wounds, but she was loosing blood, and air, and life faster than anything either the Twelfth Doctor or Mordin had seen in their lifetimes.

"Stuff it, Creaky!" Lin snapped at Nitori, glaring at the Twelfth Doctor. "Doc, give it straight to me- what's going on with Korra."

"It's internal wounds, but... it's not just her body that's been wounded." The Twelfth Doctor revealed, glumly, as Kya collected a small amount of water around her hands, placing it over Korra's chest.

"It's her spirit." Kya revealed, sighing as she kept the glowing water as close as possible to Korra's body. "My mother saw something similar to this when she was traveling with the Avatar. He was hit with a lightning bolt whilst in the Avatar State. And while the lightning bolt did considerable damage to his body, it did even more to his spirit."

"Yes, I know that story. The Fall of Ba-Sing-Se." Tenzin muttered, cleaning the sweat off his forehead. "B-but our father, he got better!"

"After two weeks, Tenzin, and his connection to the Avatar State was damaged, remember?" Kya corrected her brother, looking down at Korra. "This is more than that. At least with my father there was some kind of physical damage they could work on, but this? This is like poison. It's eating her from the inside. I could slow down the damage, but I don't know what else I can do."

"Kya." Tenzin asked, staring straight into his sister's eyes. "What are you saying?"

Kya went silent. "I'm saying that... we might let Korra live... but she might never be the same again." She said, shaking her head as Asami gasped. "I don't know what it'll be. Maybe she'll just be a little slower. Maybe she won't have... let's not think about that. For now, you—" She nodded at Mordin. "Keep a close eye on her, stop any blood from coming out, help her breathe."

" Ar... " Korra breathed out, causing everyone around her to go silent. " Ar... " Her eyes glanced over at the portal. " Ar... mani? "

There it was, the object of Urza's desire: the piece of Sifuri itself, held by the unconscious Doctor. Well, not unconscious for long, as the Eleventh Doctor breathed a sharp intake of breath just as Gavrill threw him aside, the piece falling to the ground. "Oh, man alive, what just..." He stood up, brushing his hair back, before looking around. "I just had the most bizarre dream. Well, probably should call it a nightmare... But you were there and you were there and oh— Gavrill." The Eleventh Doctor winced, stepping away from the patchwork woman. "Not a good idea to be near you."

"You got the piece." Loki asked from behind Urza, wiping away the dust from his clothes. "Congratulations. I suppose you consider this a victory for your team."

"Supergirl—pissed at Loki"

" I knew you would do the right thing," she told the demigod with a smile. Until she noticed Loki being near Urza and her smile turned into a frown directed at Loki.

Supergirl flew near Loki and punched him in the arm, with her super strength." For the record you aren't as clever as you think you are, " She told the frost giant, angrily. As she as still could remember about him knocking her with his magic staff, when she was trying to save Maria.

Urza leaned down and carefully picked up the ancient weapon fragment, slipping it into a pocket inside his armor. If the piece of Sifuri had been at all corrupted by its contact with Vaatu, there was no telling what it was capable of. Far better than it went to him than to another. Along with the reality-warping piece, this made two such fragments in his keeping, though he suspected their captor could lay hands upon either at any time. He had some ideas to deal with that. But first, there were matters near at hand.

He turned about to address the scion of chaos.

"Yes," he answered bluntly, "Or do you believe otherwise?" He then gestured for Loki to walk with him as he turned and made his way towards the portal out of the Spirit World. There was no telling how long it would remain open.

Vile, Mission accomplished

It seemed that Urza had claimed the Sifuri piece, looks like Vile did not bother having to worry about claiming the piece. Having sated his curiosity after seeing the Doctor who seemed to be fine for someone who quite literally had a severe beating, "How is he still walking?".

Vile walked towards the portal to exit the spirit world and while he considered giving Loki a good punch in the face he relented after seeing Supergirl punch him in arm, he would wait till later. Peeking his head through the portal before fully exiting Vile noted that the group was larger now containing more people he was no familiar with "If I ever have to visit the spirit world again, there will be a mountain of corpses" Vile grumbled while talking to himself as he left the portal.

Science, Arena

Elec Man whipped around when the portal opened, and rushed to it. The other Seekers that had been mentioned were visible inside, and coming out. Most importantly, there were wounded. However, his allies seemed to have set upon aiding the others, and Elec Man was unable to provide any first aid - which Mordin was doing, anyway - and all this talk of spirit was nothing the robot could deal with, so he merely stood aside, ready in case someone needed help, but otherwise inactive.

Magic

"... Good riddance," Riesbyfe muttered, dropping back into a casual, or at least unguarded, stance. She was pretty sure Vaatu was gone, anyway. It had been several minutes since everything had sort of... exploded, everybody was filtering out through the portal that had opened up.

Riesbyfe reached behind her to pull the cello case off her back, and as her hand felt only empty air, she remembered she'd left it behind way back at the beginning of all this. Welp, looked like she was going to be carrying Gamaliel for a while.

She shrugged, and wandered out with everyone else.

Team Magic

Estelle honestly wasn't expecting it to be over so quickly. As she went through the portal she looked back. There was still so many things to learn here, so many people to meet, so many new and strange locations to see.

Maybe if she just had a chance to talk to Vaatu his death could have been avoided. And to top it all off she felt like she only came here and caused destruction, like humans are wont to do.

So it was with a regret filled heart that she went through the portal knowing if she was ever gonna get home, she had to leave this place behind.

Atrocitus could still feel Korra's body rupturing from the inside from some unknown cause he tried to stem the blood loss. It was then revealed that the cause of the damage was a direct attack on the poor girl's soul. The only beings the Red Lantern knew who could do that were either cosmic beings such as Nekron and the Spectre, and some of the darkest, most disgusting depths the other Inversions were trying to achieve with their blood magic. Reversing was possible, but it could lead to brain damage that might be irreversible.

Either a horrible, painful death or the risk turning into a vegetable. This girl did not deserve this.......

"What happened to her?" Atrocitus could only ask. "And who did it.....?" There was a noticeable edge to his voice when he asked the second question.

"That's..." B.B. Hood examined Korra, frowning. Like Atrocitus, she had awareness of the implications of spiritual damage.

"The one who did this is... defeated," Maria said somberly as she decided to exit the portal still getting used to having a body again. "The spirit that inflicted that wound is the Avatar Spirit's dark counterpart."

"Yes, the damage to Korra's soul is great," Maria explained to those there, still in a rather somber mood. "It has become akin to small flame threatening to snuff itself out."

"We have failed," Maria sighed, looking depressed about everything that happened.

Mordin - ...really?

Mordin furrowed his brow as he watched the results come in. Blood pressure dropping, oxygen levels dropping, EEG readings dropping. No discernible source.

He listened as the natives described a similar incident.

"Last known sufferer survived. How?"

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!
