"It's alright Elsa, it happens to all of us, I know we aren't too close and we haven't talked much before , but if you ever need someone to talk or to lean about you can you can count on me" Wonder girl replied Elsa with a smile.

"That isn't such a bad idea" Cassie replied with a laugh at the suggestion of Armani of tying her with her rope. "I am just glad you are alright and even chuckled when Armani joke about the coat, "Next time you I am not going to allow you go to a mission without a coat" she said still in a positive mood. But this all turned into worry when Armani complained about his frostbite, She looked at Armani

"You are right, I think it will be better if we both go now to our teammates, Jude might be able to help with those frostbite burns."

she ran towards Armani and said

"I think, you need help the most right now, don't play the hero Armani, it's our turn to help you now", she said still concerned about him. She then gave her hand to Armani offering to carry him. .

Elsa

All Elsa could do in response to Cassie's comment was to do a slight bow and smile.

"Thank you."

Before Elsa could inquire into Fletcher's absence the man himself arrived an settled any disputes towards his health by appearing to be perfectly fine. Still, Elsa cast a worried glance over him.

"Fletcher, I hope you aren't hurt?"

Of course it was about now that Armani's own state of affairs cropped up. The boy needed a medic and they had to get to one fast. They mentioned Jude and Elsa remembered the quiet boy who had often had a quiet mug of hot chocolate with her during the two weeks in the cottage. He would be someone she trusted to heal Armani for the upcoming events whatever they may be.

But it was not this suggesting of seeking for medical health that drew her attention. Elsa was surprised and frustrated by the fact that even now, Armani was insisting the well being of others before himself. Though a quality, to be used here was suicide; she would not allow it. Turning, Elsa joined with Cassie in objecting.

"Armani Dove, you are the one in need of urgent medical attention. We are mostly fine; please take Cassie's hand and seek out Jude. He should be able to heal you. Moreover, I intend to come for the mission. You should expect me soon."

Icarax

A smirk played behind the Mask of Shadows as he saw the blood thirsty glare in Gavrill's eyes. So this one was a killer too. Abrasive and vile though she seemed at first, they may yet be able to seek a common goal without destroying each other in the process.

"A non permanent death?"

Icarax too, lowered his tone. It would not do to speak so openly of such things.

"All the better. I see that the chance may yet come. I wish to flex my limbs before the day is over; this petty business bores me."

Seiga followed listening to the story with some interest. As she did so, she turned around and looked at their surroundings, appreciating the view of the Ice Palace they were approaching. She noticed however in the corner of her eye that:

  • 1) Loki and Jinkuro were very quiet.

  • 2) Their movements were exceedingly monotonous.

  • 3) A crude wooden carving would have had a more animated expression than what those two sported.

This, from what Seiga knew of them, was so out of characternote  that she couldn't help but shake her head that seemingly no one else had noticed.

"Dear me. Not very well done, for a god of trickery and deceit." she murmured to herself, picking up the pace and coming right next to Maria, draping her arms around the vampire hunter from behind.

"I see you have friends in high places, Maria. I'm liking you more and more." she purred in her ear.

The Makuta gave a contemptuous snort at Gavrill's answer. He must agree: it was indeed frustrating that the outcome of their mission. He would have to trail obediently along for now and hope the locals didn't waste too much of his time talking nonsense. If they did try to waste his time with trivia, they would realise that Icarax had ways of getting something to talk without involving the use of death and destruction.

"Have you ever heard me talk nonsense?" Growled Icarax.

"but yes, until the objective becomes clear, the locals will be too important to injure. Unfortunately."

Toph remained on the back of the room, standing always to the side of everyone, so that their attention didn't immediately come to her. She even crossed her arms and looked down as to naturally hide her face. She simply looked like a small person in winter clothes, which was the exact look she was going for.

Still... what shocked those two? Was the fact that they saw Toph as a little kid... or was the fact they saw her alive?

Science.

While she still had her cape working as a coat she was still complaining about the cold temperatures of the place. Part of it was the fact that she was not used to cold temperatures and was over reacting and part of it was that she wasn't even supposed to feel cold as she was supposed to notice already she was a kryptonian. If it wasn't for that blue kryptonite bracelet she might have already noticed.

Kara noticed Mistral alongside Gavrill and decided to say hi. "Hey Mistral, what's up, still thinking I am a npc?" kara said with a smile..

"He sounded like an old curmodgeon. The kind you'd see hanging at a home for old people, complaining about life... or worse, a newpsaper publisher." Loki winced, before holding his arm out for Jinkuro to grab as he walked into the festival, a bright, cheery smile on his face. "I would like to continue our talk from before, Jinkuro. I believe... we were talking about life experiences. Would you be so kind as to share the stories that took you to this point in your life?"

——

"Exhaustion? No, it can't be." Tenzin muttered, leaning over Kya to take a closer look at her. "I speak from experience... the only way these two could have passed out was if they had just come back from climbing a mountain. Without any sleep." He nodded at the healers. "Thanks for your help, that'll be all now."

"Maybe it was him!" Meelo pointed at Jude, glaring at him as the healers left. "Maybe he knocked out Aunt Kya! Maybe he's here to steal her necklace!"

"Stop it, Meelo, you can't just go around accusing people!" Ikki chided him, as Jinora continued to just smile and look at Toph's general direction. The two kids continued to talk to each other when suddenly, Kya sat up, panting.

"TOPH!" She yelled out, breathing raggedly, before spotting her brother. "Tenzin," She grabbed him by his robes. "You wouldn't believe it, I saw her! I saw Toph! Except she was..." She put her hand up to Ikki's height. "Yay high!"

"A DRAGONFLY BUNNY!" Bumi yeleld out as he sat up, grabbing the attention of everyone around him. "What? That's what I saw." Kya slapped herself in the forehead and Tenzin just rolled his eyes and groaned before Bumi snapped his fingers. "Oh yeah! I also saw someone who looked suspiciously like Toph! Except, you know, she was, like, a little girl." He put his hand up to Meelo's height. "Yay high. Wearing winter clothes!"

He stopped, as his eyes slowly travelled towards Toph on the corner of the room, the eyes of the other two adults and the children following him- except for Jinora, who was already looking at her. Bumi was the first to react, jumping up on his bed and putting his back against the wall. "S-S-S-SPIRITS!" He yelled, clawing at the wall. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything I ever did, just don't let me get haunted by spirits!"

Team Science

Bolin slowly tapped a finger on his chin before clasping his hands. "So, those clothes of yours. Don't you get cold whilst wearing them—" He stopped asking questions when he saw Icarax, prompting him to let out a low 'wow'. "Is there... is there a guy underneath all that armor?" He looked up, narrowing his eyes. "He must be reaally tall..."

"Yeah, that's them." Sokka said to Labyris, before speaking up. "Guys, let's refrain from doing too much damage... so we can keep our cover until we find out where is the piece, that is."

"Hi there!" Mako said to the soldiers, raising his hand. "We're friends of the Avatar and guests of the banquet." The guards looked at each other and then at the group made up of Team Science.

"Yeah, we're not buying that." One of the guards said, pointing at Gavrill. "You've even got one of those weird freaks that dresses up as funnies characters. What kind of guards do you think we are?"

"Listen, we just want to get into the palace." Sokka said, moving to the front of the group. "Now, the reason some of us look funny, it's because we're part of a group of.." He turned around to stare at his teammates, not noticing that both of the guards had their jaws on the floor upon seeing Sokka, before spinning around and passing out right in the palace steps. "... entertrainers!" He turned back around, noticing the two guards on the floor. "Uh. Was it something I said?"

With no one blocking the palace doors, Sokka attempted to open them, managing to at least move one of them despite having no waterbending abilities. The inside of the palace was, as expected, gargantuan, and although it seemed to be made out of ice, it was actually warmer inside. There were various doors, some leading into corridors and some leading into other rooms, some open and some closed, but at the end of the corridor, near the throne room, were Unalaq and Tonraq, talking amongst themselves, whilst a loud conversation happened in the dining room, not that far away from them.

Then again, they could go wherever they wanted.

Icarax, upon hearing the guards' comment about 'freaks', had tightened his grip on his double-sword. Fortunately for the guards, they had fainted upon seeing Sokka and Icarax could lower his sword again. Though he would have argued that proper disposing of the bodies would ensure that they were not involved in any sort of trouble, he was for once glad to not have anything more to irk him.

Bolin got no more attention than a brief irritated glance. The native was not worth his trouble.

Seeing Sokka struggle with the double doors, Icarax strode up the stairs and gave the two doors a sharp push causing both doors to swing open. After the performance of this feat, he stood by and made no attempt to follow the others in.

If it meant coming in contact with that other team, then he would spare them the trouble of cleaning up after the mess he will make.

"No, but I'm a hero and we do go on quests." He cocked his head slightly at Fletcher. "Never heard of Ned Stark, and why does he need to have his skin eaten away by bleach in order to look like me?" I'm told I'm far from ugly. That last part was spoken wryly, but now that he thought about it, it WAS mostly Aren that said that he was attractive...Perhaps she was a bit biased. Couples typically were, right? He was tempted to even ask Fletcher out of the blue, but then the other two laid into him.

Armani gave the other two a slightly bewildered look at the mention of playing hero; apparently, they hadn't picked up his ACTUAL reason for telling the others to head out first, which would be that riding on Cassandra in his current condition sounded quite painful and he'd rather wait another few minutes and then gingerly take some nectar

...but, he decided, if they wanted to go ahead and think of him as being a big hero, then who was he to stop them? He surpressed an evil chuckle. He did smile at them and nod several times in a slightly belligerent manner. "Yes, alright, a hero I shall not be." He sighed dramatically. "Oh, but my queen, should this humble peasant allow you to walk in his place? I think not, I could not ever allow such a horrid thing; instead we shall be voiding that in its entirety." He gave Fletcher a happy look. "I suppose I could avoid being self-sacrificial this time. Fletcher can take all three of us back at once, right? So none of that flight happenstance is necessary." He gave Elsa stubborn look. "And keeps you from walking, got it?"

Jude might indeed be faster so he had no objections off hand, though he got the dismal feeling he was in for a lecture

The grots would not have enough time to even start pocketing the things they took from the guard before they found themselves immobile. Their sharp eyes though would at least reveal the cause: vein like projections of shadow had spread over every inch of their bodies and now acted like unbreakable chains.

"Drop. The. Loot"

Bigwrench had not been harmed, and he would see the perpetrator of this binding. Icarax emerged from his post next to the doors of the ice palace, doublesword in hand. The Makuta gave the weapon a casual twirl and fixed the orks with a venomous glare.

"Foul vermin, the natives are to be left untouched. If this order applies to me then you certainly are no exception."

Stepping forwards, Icarax plucked a short sword from the hands of the nearest grot and let it fall to the ground.

"You will join the others inside."

It wasn't a suggestion, it was a command.

Elsa looked at Armani and one eyebrow went up at his change in speech pattern. She wasn't smiling. That moment was over quickly enough though, ushered in with the suggestion of Fletcher's ability to teleport. It was a good idea and allowed them to arrive as soon as possible which she was what the others intended to do.

She nodded and stayed silent. It meant she had no objections she wanted to voice. She would have like to walk back, if not only because it would give her some more time with herself. Still, the others had a perfectly valid reason and she was in no position to argue.

"That would be quite convenient. Do you think you can do it Fletcher?"

It was his first time in a human form and he wanted to see how others associated with him and their reactions to him showing up. He would let the so called God question and handle things for now.

Team... Elsa, apparently
"Ned Stark? Game of Thrones? You know nothing, Armani Dove."

Fletcher would bring up that heroes where he came from didn't go on quests, but it struck him how very few examples of heroes he had. Valkyrie was... gone, Ghastly was dead, Tanith was possessed, Skulduggery...
Skukduggery was ruthless. Skulduggery was cold. Skuduggery may fight on the side of angels, but he certainly wasn't one.
And Fletcher himself... he was just a helper.

Elsa broke him out of his thoughts by questioning his ability.
"Your Majesty, I can teleport four people to the other side of the planet. Unless the group gets really big, I'm not gonna find it difficult."

He held his hands out towards the members of the group, signaling for them to take them. Once the trio did, he would teleport them back to where they came out of the portal.

Before Gavrill could even finish making a threat, both guards passed out cold at the sight of Sokka.

She nudged one of the unconscious guards with her foot.

"Does that usually happen when people look at you, kid?"

Something weird was going on. Sokka was definitely from this place, but everything was different from the way he remembered, and now people were fainting at the sight of him? Whatever it meant, she had a nagging feeling it was important. But it would have to wait; for the moment Gavrill was preoccupied with finding the other team and scoping them out.

She entered the palace and walked along the main corridor, looking left and right and adjusting the dials on her head. She sniffed the air carefully, seeking to pick up the trail of the other team. She grinned to herself in anticipation. She would find their scent, and she would hunt them down.

"Not a spirit," Maria said to the others, slightly exasperated. "But she is Toph Beifong in the flesh."

Maria sighed, the only comfort being Seiga's loving embrace, which she smiled at, but had to continue on without too much acknowledgement.

"You say you have not seen me for six months?" Maria asked Tenzin to confirm. "Well, it had been two weeks since I last saw you."

"Whether she is the Toph of a different world that is 70 years behind or the Toph of this world from 70 years ago, we do not know, but it is obvious that time does not quite work for us like it does for you," Maria said to the gathered group. "I am not sure that is even a good explanation, since business with time is more Ms. Shantotto's forte, but that does not change the fact that Toph is indeed here right now."

"So this your family, Tenzin?" Maria looked at Meelo, Ikki, and Jinora, the latter of which she raised an eyebrow at. "Your children and your brother and sister."

Team Science

"Does it look like I'm cold to you? What's got you worried about me?" Ryuko said through gritted teeth, clearly annoyed at Bolin. She was so close to using her blade on him, but then he turned his attention to one of the others in the group. She sighed relieved that he wasn't focusing on her for the time being and focused on the guards in front of them. Despite their guides apparently knowing someone in there, they weren't letting the group in. An annoyed Ryuko was prepared to bust inside there herself, but then Sokka appeared in front prepared to tell them an extravagant lie. And right then, both guards collapsed on the sight of him, leaving the entrance open.

Ryuko stared at the two for a moment, and then shook out of it as the group made it through the doors into the actual party. "This place is weird..." she said whist entering the party.
