"Perhaps you will find out before we leave," Urza answered, without looking up from his studies. Yes, yes, I see it now. A curious fractal structure, very irregular, but there is an underlying pattern of generation and like all crystalline constructs, it has a resonance frequency. Unfortunately, said frequency was both audible and jarring for humans. If the artificer was a suspicious being, and he was, he would think it was designed that way. Then Donatello asked yet another foolish question.

"You don't need to talk to anyone besides us," he said, his gaze flicking over towards the turtle for a brief moment. "There is no one else here to speak to and this universe is corrupted." Then, to Aurelia, "We have our weapons. And once I have a good estimate of the enemy forces we face, I will supply transportation. The only thing we require is swiftness and information on Vect's forces and defenses."

While nothing the Lady offered could be trusted, such information could still be valuable in its own way. She didn't know just how little he knew about this realm, but surely she suspected.

"Y-you're wrong!" Donatello yelled, pointing at Urza, still shaking. "I-I'm going to fix my T-Pod, a-a-and then I'm gonna call Raph, and he's going to wake me up, and he's going to get me out of here, and everything's going to be fine, and I'm going to get out of here, and everything's going to be fine, and I'm going to get out of here..." The turtle continued, anxiously repeating the last two sentences whilst looking at his fingers, typing at some invisible keyboard.

Maria had gotten to where Seiga was, still under the effects of the drug, as she saw the Pain Engine pick up Toph. Maria did decide to stick close to Seiga though.

"Um, you should not pick her—" Maria pouted and attempted to warn the two haemonculi, as Toph freaked out big time. "Err, too late..."

"She can see through her feet with her power over earth!" Maria explained quickly to the twins, though what she said would sound rather loopy even if she was not hopped up on painkiller. "She does not need to see with her eyes, only her feet!"

SCIENCE

"What do you mean 'we'?!" B.B. Hood glared at Urza, pointing to the blade he gave her. "All I've got is your blade!"

"I'd like a gun, at least!" B.B. Hood pouted in protest of Urza's declaration, but glared at Aurelia. "Even if they are stupid torture guns!"

B.B. Hood then saw that Donatello was freaking out, and Jack trying to calm him, "He's right!"

"We can't let ourselves go crazy here!" B.B. Hood said to Donatello concern in her voice. "If we panic that'll just make us easy picking for the monster here in this Makai Realm."

"We need to stay sane if we are to survive," B.B. Hood said bluntly to Donatello, though she glanced over at Urza as if that statement applied to him as well. "So long as your mind is yours, you can get out of any situation."

Team Science - Commonrragh

Sokka shot a sideways glance at Gavrill, not trying to reprimand her, but instead, trying to say that she could have done this better. He stepped forward, arms crossed, waiting for Donatello to recover from the slap. "I know how you feel." He said, looking down at his half-destroyed shoes.

"I'm not going to say you had the wrong mindset," He glared at Urza while speaking that particular line. "Because we could use more people who think like you do. A band of cynics is never going to go anywhere, after all." He shrugged, smirking. "I once was just like you. I had my worldview shattered. I think it happened around the time my first girlfriend turned into the moon." He tapped his chin, trying to have a lighter tone. "That's when I saw what war was really like."

"Did I want to snap? Of course I did. But I just fought against the urge." Sokka reached over and put a hand on Donatello's shoulder, smiling at him. "And if I managed to do it, then so can you. So please, don't snap. Because once we're done here, I'm gonna need your help on fixing some thing, and you're one of the most knowledgeable when it comes to this subject..."

Team Magic - The Ship

"It won't be much use." Loki said, one hand behind his back, and the other holding his staff. "I've been sensing something on this place... lingering over us. And it flared up when you did your little party trick, so I have reasons to believe that there might be an anti-teleportation field around the inner areas of the ship. So that's why I vote for the upper level. Let's be reasonable beings and adopt a stealth option, hm?"

"Hold up!" Dandy said, suddenly appearing besides the group. "If you guys are going for the vault, then so are we! We can split up the reward!"

"50-50!" QT added.

"Or 30-70, if you're feeling generous." Meow pleaded.

Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrripsquishsquash.

Unless Sam had been taught about the sounds things make by a Dr. Seuss book, then he would have been one hundred percent sure metal being slashed open didn't make squishsquash sounds. That's because Muramasa didn't just cut through metal. Well, to be fair, it did. It sliced right through the upper body of Lady Killberty, the metal opening up to reveal gears. No, wait, those weren't gears. Those were platforms. Platforms placed around the giant metal rod that was Lady Killberty's spine- something his sword had also sliced through- but covering the giant rods were levers and buttons and...

... and hundreds upon hundreds of the same tentacle being that fell out of the giant robot's head. All of them moving levers, pulling buttons, some of them spinning the robot's spine around, others moving her arms, but all of them stopping in sync as they noticed a giant Brazillian man grinning at them.

And in an instant, as Lady Killberty started falling, so did the tentaclies (what we'll start calling them now), jumping from their posts inside the robots whilst yelling or crying (Ryho ycm'g quelch yg!), falling to the ground with soft plop sounds and squiggling their way as far away from the invaders as possible. Oh, and the giant robot was heading straight to the ground as well. Maybe that was why they were running away and looking for holes to hide in.

Donatello slowly stops typing in the invisible keyboard, looking up at Jack, Hood and Sokka, blinking sporadically before opening his mouth. "... y-your girlfriend turned into the moon?" He blurted out, the deer-in-the-headlights look still in his eyes. "That's... that's harsh, pal." He said, mustering up a smile. "Okay. I'll do it. I'll get my head back in the game." He nodded, his smile turning into a more confident smirk. "I'll do it. I can do it. We can do it. We can win this and we can get out of here!"

"Your first girlfriend turned into a what now, Boomerang Boy?" B.B. Hood said questioningly to Sokka. "You mean turned by the moon like she was a werewolf, right?"

B.B. Hood actually looked down, reminded of the loss of her grandmother to a werewolf which had forced B.B. Hood to... B.B. Hood did not want to remember that memory, but it did mean she felt some sympathy for Sokka's loss.

"I'm sorry you lost your girlfriend," B.B. Hood said to Sokka, unnaturally somber for the somewhat crazed gun-toting psycho girl.

Rayman followed the others knowing it'd probably be best to stick together. However, he stopped in his tracks as he entered the lab. Rayman had never been a fan of cages. After all the times various monsters and baddies had stuffed the innocent inhabitants of the Glade of Dreams into cages, it took every ounce of willpower he had not to lash out and smash every cage in the room.

Then, the Dark Eldar tried to cure Toph's eyesight, which resulted in Toph freaking out and trashing stuff with her earth bending. "Hey, don't fix what ain't broke," Rayman said to the doctors.

Icarax

Icarax snorted and finally brought his spear to a halt. He then allowed the shadow construct to dissipate into the air like a dark oil stain. The shadow hung around his hand, unwilling to leave. It still had a life to take.

"Perhaps Atrocitus, I should gut you before I kill you, I am interested.... interested in just how full of nonsense you are."

Atrocitus wound find that it was becoming harder to stay afloat, the gravitational energy exerted on him was growing each passing second. Soon he will drop like a ton of bricks.

So know this, red fool, I will send you back to your insipid employer. You will tell him that Makuta Icarax Champion of Death sent you; tell him that Icarax is disgusted by his pathetic choices of seekers; tell him that his entire team fell at the hands of one being. Then tell him that Icarax has a gift in store for such meddlers such as he...because did you not know?"

Here Icarax' voice lowered itself to a smug hiss. Pride oozed with every word.

"Makuta have brought down greater, he is nothing to me. The only gods I will acknowledge is power and authority and I am both."

Then suddenly Icarax had his spear of shadow once more in his hand. With a lightning quick lunge he stabbed the weapon of darkness straight at Atrocitus' chest!

The only real comparison that Fletcher could think of when it came to anti-teleportation fields was whatever charms prevented people apparating into Hogwarts. But Hogwarts was, y'know, fictional and had gotten magic all wrong.
Not like that had stopped that Necromancer in Chicago, the one Tanith and Sanguine had told them about. Then again, that guy had spent his entire life in a Necromancer Temple, he couldn't really be blamed for binging on pop-culture.

The void creature wasn't the only confused one in the room. A young Japanese girl looked around in confusion, not noticing Vel'Koz at the moment. She was not sure how she got here, or where here was either. This did not look like any sort of building she knew. "The hell?" She muttered to herself. She took a moment to take stock of her own condition, finding nothing wrong. A sheathed sword was gripped in her left hand, carried at the waist. She gave the room one more look over, finally noticing the tentacle monster in the room.

Momohime's spirit floated next to Jinkuro in her body. She was just as confused as he was, finding a hole in her memory of how they got here. Since she was a spirit, this was exceptionally weird, as she didn't sleep in the form and couldn't blame passing out. She floated closer to her body, concern on her face. "Jinkuro?" She noticed his alarm.

The girl jumped back from Vel'Koz and placed her right hand on the hilt of the sword, apparently preparing for an attack. "Should have figured a monster was behind this." She said to herself. Well there was always one sure fire way to break illusions or whatever it was that this monster placed on her.

Vel'Koz's eyes darts around to focus on the appearance of another creature. The size and proportions were right, she was perhaps Human? Was it male or female? He could not be sure from physical parameters he could see. He would have to make it cry out and listen to the pitch of it's voice.. but now was not the time for that. Vel'Koz set back his immediate need for knowledge as the situation did not warrant it. Brought here unknown and then another in turn. This was not any known League of Legends place. A Field of Justice had a Nexus or similar building immediately visible to the summoning location. Perhaps it could be a new lobby room?

Back to the matter at hand, the human looked like it was ready to attack Vel'Koz. He did not want to get into a fight so soon, especially if this was a League summoning. That would mean.. "Greetings, Human." Vel'Koz's voice echoed as he spoke. It was a dark, otherworldly voice. "I am Vel'Koz, Champion of the League of Legends. Known as the Eye of the Void. Are you a new Champion of the League?"

Urza sighed. There it was again. His greatest enemies understood the nature of the multiverse better than most of his allies. And he could not deny that their artifice was intriguing, in its own twisted way. Already he was falling back into old patterns of thought.

"Agreed," he said, a distinct sour note in his voice. "However, we require an explanation of whatever weapons they request, how they work, their effectiveness against specific targets, and so forth." He looked up to the rest of the group.

"Stay together," he told them. "We do not split up for any reason. If that happens, I will assume you are compromised and act accordingly."

Meanwhile a blond teenage girl was walking through what seemed to be a half field and a half industrial complex. She was wearing a silver bracelet with a blue stone and female version of the superman costume she had worn in a halloween party earlier that day.

Seconds ago she had ran away from home in metropolis and in a blink of an eye she was walking in a foreign landscape.

Was she supergirl?

Not yet.

She had never had any super powers whatsoever and as far as she knew she was just another human nor had she cared about anyone but herself in all her life to deserve the “hero” label.

Kara walked towards the beach half believing this to be a dream

“what’s going on?, where am I?”

she said, while confused and scared. Her eyes showed that she had cried even before being at this strange place.

Atrocitus was indeed stabbed by the spear through and through.........but what would surprise Icarax was that the Red Lantern did not die. In fact, he looked pissed more than anything, and the shadow which made up the spear began dissolving while within the Ryutian's body......

"Very bold words for a destructive egotist," Atrocitus said, as he grabbed the shaft of the spear - *squish* - and actually pulled himself closer to Icarax. "You are probably just one of thousands in my own universe alone!" *squish* "And so easy did you forget Teridax? Or even the Pariah you fought only moments ago?!" *squish* "If you cannot defeat either them, then you have no chance against our employer." *squish* Atrocitus was close enough to the Makuta's face. "In fact, you can go meet himself YOURSELF!!"

The Red Lantern then suddenly vomited a torrent of liquid Red Light into Icarax's face, igniting into searing flames as well, fanned by the Rage of all the being the Makuta had murdered during his long life, whether by his hand or indirectly.

Team Magic - Common Room

A look of surprise and confusion appeared on the face of the young woman, thought her hand remained on her sword. Usually weird tentacle monsters didn't talk. How was he even talking without a mouth anyways? The monster introduced its self as Vel'Koz and as some sort of champion of something. It seemed to think that she was one of these champions as well, though she couldn't remember ever being anyone's champion. "I have no idea what you are talking about. I've never heard of this League of yours." She said tersely.

Icarax

Icarax had no room for Surprise on his face, only annoyance as the Rage wielder dissolved his shadow energy with red light. This may become rather drawn out.

Then Atrocitus began to speak. He spoke of Death, he spoke of Teridax that accursed fool and he spoke of the Pariah. Even now Icarax felt a shudder run through him at the mention of the Pariah. He remembered that fight, that supposed 'duel'. It was no duel; and he knew that. The utter terror that had filled his mind came back to haunt him. That irrational fear that tore apart all that he had ever built for himself.

The fear of death. Still he could not master it.

It tore down his pride, it crushed his arrogance, it reduced his titles to ashes and spat on them.

Thus, even as Icarax prepared to do battle with the red lantern, he froze- his mind constricted as fear so absolute as to block out the sun came back to haunt him. Fear produced anger and anger- frustration. Now of all moments, he, Icarax, the greatest Makuta to ever walk was compromised by fear. It was laughable; it was a joke that his brethren would never forget- that Icarax should should stumble upon his own hypocrisy.

"You miserable...Wretch

Icarax tore himself away from the red lantern and shot up with a flap of his wings. What was left of the shadow construct dissolved without further ado.

"You dare taunt me."

As a rage wielder, Atrocitus could tell without a second guess: Icarax was now royally pissed off. All the frustration, all that fear, Icarax forced those combined emotions into hate: hatred to the Red Lantern that had dared to remind him of his faults.

"You think you know Death red fool? You think you can make death do your bidding? I am the master of Death Here."

A lie, spoken with conviction but a lie nonetheless. Icarax knew that of all things he was master of, death was not one of them.

The red vomit never touched Icarax. A black mist enveloped him even as he twisted out of the way with blinding speed. The darkness around him caught the red light of rage, sizzling, then snuffed it out like a candle. Whatever it was, it was still light, it could still be extinguished.

For Atrocitus, there was now no reprieve as Icarax homed in with yet another weapon of shadow in hand. It looked like another spear but even as Icarax swung it in a murderously fast horizontal arch it seemed to change in shape such that it resembled a mighty battle axe.

The Red lantern could block but no matter, stroke after stroke Icarax dealt; from every possible angle and with the skill of a needle- threading in and out of the Red Lantern's own responses. Whenever the Red consumed it, the darkness would simply regrow, replenished by the vast stores within Icarax but whenever the darkness overcame the light, the red would splutter out and Atrocitus would realise that his light was being depleted at a worryingly fast rate.

"Congratulations, Wielder of Rage, you have pissed off the wrong Makuta."

Elsa

The current situation was getting ridiculous. There was talking animal, a man with dubious hair and a talking thing made of metal with lights and....whatever else it was made of. For all her education she found it hard to put names on the things she was seeing today. This was beyond weird. Elsa had to acknowledge that it was literally out of her world.

Meanwhile she was happy to simply let things proceed. The less they saw of her the better since it would mean she didn't have to be directed involved in anything, especially if there was going to be fighting taking place. Yes Elsa thought, avoid fighting at all costs.

Yet....

Then she would be baggage. She had hoped that her smarts would be of help but it seemed as if right now, they required her power...no, Curse, more than anything else. It was extremely vexing. She had hid the curse for her entire life, she simply could not let it go at this moment; if she did, what would her parents say?

That thought was enough to convince Elsa otherwise.

But...

How long could she hold out? The more she thought about it the clearer, the more unnerving the mental picture became. She realised at that moment that one day, perhaps even today, she would need to stop containing her powers-Curse (how many times must she correct herself?). Instinctively Elsa withdrew her mind away from that scenario, wishing against all hope and reason that it would never come to that but no matter how she tried to deny it the scene refused to go away- her standing alone facing a foe far beyond her team's ability.

What would she do?

There would be no choice....

She would have to....

"I think we have tarried for long enough."

Elsa spoke up, looking to Armani for support.

"Do we know what we will come up against?"
