You swapped the fields, it seems. Courtesy link: Extreme Doormat.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.Title and link swapped.
Motion to pull
Pic is cute but doesn't represent the trope at all.
I agree, pull the image. (Sorry about mixing up the titles by the way, I'm still kinda new here.)
I... don't really see the problem with the image. It's a cat with its natural prey walking all over it. Pretty much the best image we can get out of a pretty complex trope unless there's something really that much better.

I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorAgreed. It demonstrates the trope well.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.I'm willing to look at suggestion, but otherwise it seems fine.
What he said.
Please.I think the current pic is fine.
http://www.mansionofe.comA new caption would be nice.
I do recall an old Simpsons episode that involved people literally walking on Krusty the Clown. Be impossible to find though. Pity.
Looks like a good image to me. Open to alternatives, though.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyLike the image. What is it missing?
An actual demonstration of the trope...but it looks like we're outvoted, so, new caption?
Well, apparently a predator that lets its prey crawl all over it is an Extreme Doormat. Not sure it's the best example, but I can see why the picture got used.
Reaction Image RepositoryFor the sake of actually discussing an alternative, here's the best example I can think of. For a little context, the girl, Lala-Ru, has been held prisoner, pampered, bribed, interrogated, possibly raped, and now threatened with being stabbed in the eye by a rose all so she'll use her water powers to give a militaristic madman fuel for his flying ship. She is pretty much completely catatonic to all of the above when her captors are present, only the possible rape got an emotional reaction out of her, and that was when they weren't watching.

I don't think that that pic really encompasses the trope all that well. If you remove the context, it's just a catatonic girl about to be stabbed in the eye.
Reaction Image RepositoryAgreed; that looks more like potential Eye Scream than anything.
That anime pic is terrible. Everyone can get what a cat who lets mice walk on it is symbolizing, not everyone can get what's going on in the eye stabbing picture. It needs context, something the cat one doesn't.
The overall consensus is to keep the current pic, so let's talk caption options, as the current one just doesn't cut it. Maybe "What a pussy."?
^ I like it— excellent use of pun.
Thanks for the all fish!I second this.
"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".Good enough; it's up. Locking up.
The current pic is just a cat with rats all over it. I think there should be a better image of the trope. The current one doesn't really show the trope all that much.
