Scrappies You Didn't Think Were So Bad

On the earlier topic of Sonic X...is it wrong that I actually liked Cosmo and never understood why she was disliked for her angst? (Albeit I think what I saw was a Base Breaker)

Seriously (Although it was not shown as much in Sonic X) Shadow was MUCH worse when it came to angst and yet he seemed to get a free pass. The only other justification I found was pretty much about shipping and how some of shippers had wars with eachother over this....

To be honest, Cosmo, Amy, and Chris were the only characters I had problems with, but at least Cosmo had better reasons to act the way she she did (no offense to Chris and Amy fans).

Also, I think Shadow dodges criticism because he didn't take up as much screen-time as Chris and the other characters did.

Another "Scrappy" I no longer have problems with is Snow White from Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs. At first, I used to dislike her, but ever since I got in the Disney fandom in Tumblr, I grew to appreciate her a lot more because while she was bland and had an "annoying" voice, in her defense, the film was made when female characters didn't have a role and not to mention, she was the first Disney princess, and Disney had to start off somewhere.

Snow White stil isn't one of my favorites, but I don't hate her either.

Snow White's voice is only annoying if you think, say, Betty Boop or Olive Oyl is annoying.

I've never watched Betty Boop, but I dislike Olive Oyl for her being a damsel, rather than her voice.

I don't think Olive Oyl is a terrible character though, considering how female characters weren't prominent at her time, so it's not her fault.

The only problem I had with her is usually just how fast she would switch between romancing Popeye and Bluto. She was rather ok for her time though, its not surprising she was a distress damsel though, hell even her character design made that obvious (How would you defend yourself with noodle arms?)

Er, yeah, their voices get a tad grating after a while.
