Just saw the Live action FOP.
It was...well, it tried, really, really hard. But...yeah. Not very good, unfortunately. I don't see why they needed to bring in a new villain. That really ruined it for me.
Read my stories! My big problem with it, as mentioned, is that a show like this really can't feasibly work well in live action (especially when you water down most of the cast). It's the kind of whimsy that animation was made for, and putting it in live action is like trying to rotoscope an entire football game—it's a monumental task that can be extremely prone to errors due to just how nigh impossible it is to pull off well.
But like I said, I still loved the guy who played Crocker and Jason Alexander. And the Turner parents were also great in their scenes.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Oh god yeah, I loved the parents. They tried to make the whimsy but...yeah.
Read my stories!Good effort at least, though I can't exactly give them an A for it. Like I said before, though, my friend and I at least had fun riffing on it while we were watching it. I really wish we were recording our quips, we had some good ones
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.the actors were mostly terrific . It was the plot that ws very bad
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.At least they kept the two voice actors for CG Cosmo and Wanda, and Timmy's Dad was played by his voice actor too.
Yeah...the plot was so uninspired, especially that ending. I wanted to see more of jorgen von strangle!
Read my stories! How the heck do you say that live action Tootie wasn't like how she was in the cartoon?
She's nice and in love with Timmy. Also, she was never "ugly", wearing glasses and braces doesn't make someone ugly, Tootie was always cute underneath those.
I find it amusing that some people here constantly whine about this show not having enough character development, and then they make the slightest of changes to a supporting character out to be the damning of this entire show.
Hm, who said that? O.o
Although then again, Tootie never really had a deep personality to begin with, so when you take away the obsessiveness, it makes sense she would come off as a completely different person.
Read my stories! The big difference was the lack of obsession in the movie. Justified, I s'pose, since obviously someone will mature somewhat in thirteen years, and obsessing over someone is kinda immature.
But, yeah, I don't remember anyone mentioning that.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. And her being cute is subjective. SUBJECTIVE!
As is calling her personality "obsessive" and her character shallow when she is shown to do plenty of other things besides chase Timmy.
Well, a lot of characters in this show are really shallow. FOP really ain't that deep of a show. It's not that much of an insult to say that.
Read my stories!...I really don't see it. I can't remember a single episode (aside from maybe the birthday episode) in which she was portrayed as doing non-Timmy-related stuff.
This. It's a silly comedy show. It's not some Shakespearean epic or whatever that needs Hidden Depths up the wazoo (and even when characters are given that, it's not like it sticks most of the time).
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Touche. That always confused me, but eh, I collect bottlecaps from glass Coke bottles for no discernible reason.

Read my stories!Squirrely Puffs and Oh Brother she is a part of a girl scout troop and does things like ballet, nature hikes, ect. In another episode, she is a cheerleader and also rides a bicycle in the Tour de France.
Also, character depth itself is subjective, since that word has already been passed out there. Tootie has a connection to Timmy in that she also could use a fairy. They've only glanced the surface of this fact, yet it remains one of the most controversial and talked about subplots in this show.
I always thought shipping, the show's quality over time, and Poof were the only really controversial things.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle....and even as far as fandoms go, I really doubt it's THAT controversial compared to, say, iCarly shenanigans.
Read my stories!I've been a fan of this show for years, and mingle constantly with people in the fanbase.
What I described might fall under "shipping" for some, but its more than that.
And you completely avoided my point that there is more to Tootie than just chasing Timmy around every episode. Also, I don't want to sound rude here, but I'm not here to talk about other shows. I've never watched an episode of iCarly and thus I have no idea what your deviation is about.

iCarly ship wars are scary motherfuckers.
Also, I didn't really enjoy as Tootie as a character one way or another, even when she was expanded. She was too...shrill, for me? I even disliked Wanda to a degree for the same reason, although Wanda did have awesome moments for me.
Read my stories! There is no need to start insulting Tootie.
Good bye Snuggie. Ban evasion.
I would love a reboot of this series.
My favorite episode of poof FOP was the day they had to take a family photo with poof. When they told timmy that he was part of heir family It was just awesome :D
I love the fact that for Cosmo and Wanda timmy isn't just a job but they actually love him
