I really hate that THE most iconic Girl Power Heroine has to depend on her boyfriend again, but KEWLIO. Also I hate that Tohru Furuya never got to use this attack. Poor Furuya-san, so much talent yet so much jobbing.

On the flip side, TM doesn't get to do much in the way of actual competency, he's more the distressed pretty princess role.

On the dub, if we can get about a season of episodes every year until it's done, I'll be very happy.

Probably. Voice tracks take a while to do, though my best guess is we'll at least get a release date by early May. Heck the KLK dub has been shipped in pathetic 4-episode packs since last October, and there's still 8 left to go.

Nice also if the Crystal anime continues I would love to see Galaxia redone as she is reminding me of Thanos from Marvel Comics. Just seeing a female magical girl rule an entire galaxy with the power to end plants is awesome for a villain.

Galaxia's costume is one that looks as if it fits better in the gaudiness of the live stage shows, to my eyes.

I've seen some good cosplay Galaxias myself.

Is the costuming really that crazy in Sera Myu? From what bits I have heard, it's the part of the franchise where the inherent camp that's normally restrained somewhat gets embraced and gleefully ran away with.

I just watched a Black Moon-based one, and they revealed Death Phantom by giving him an awesome new costume.

I mean to watch more Sailor Moon S tomorrow, but for now it's just funny that they seem to have shuffled the origins of the Cutie Moon Rod with the Spiral Heart Moon Rod.

Holy crap, Diana's showing up EARLY in Crystal. Her new seiyuu is Shoko Nakagawa, making this another show she's a Promoted Fangirl of (though she did do a cover of Heart Moving for the 20th anniversary album before this).

Well this is gonna be the last season unless they do adapt the whole manga so why not have her show up >_>

I just checked — it's not that she's showing up early, it's that the 90s anime introduced her LATE (a few eps into SuperS, season 4!).

Maybe? It's my first time going through the show but I have heard the monsters of the week get more ridiculous in this season than in the Rainbow Crystals arc.

But because I know season 3 has Kunihiko Ikuhara written all over it, I have a couple clips ready for Uranus/Neptune moments and random symbolism.

I've heard that many of the manga's mooks were rather formless, but the anime seems to have settled on "insane women in insane costumes" for monsters of the day so that every episode is its own cosplay challenge.
