New ep for Crystal is out.

First four new English dub episodes are also out.

Dubs of episodes five through twenty-three should be up by tomorrow as well.

Crystal Makoto intro: So it appears that Tuxedo Mask knows Usagi is Sailor Moon, even if Mamoru himself doesn't.

No, I think Mamoru actually does know, he just doesn't want Usagi to know he's Tuxedo Mask, so he's not saying anything about it.

I recall in the original anime (the dub at least, I'm less sure about the original version) that he apparently didn't even know he was Tuxedo Mask until he actively started searching for the Crystals and then changed back while he was holding one.

But those are two different versions, so this may not apply.

So, was Neprhite supposed to die at this point in the Manga, the way Jedite was against Mars?

Yes, Nephrite dies in the original manga version of this latest story. One other little thing that was cut out in this new anime was in the manga Act 5, Usagi uses the disguise pen to turn herself into a groom right before she transforms to fight the possessed mannequin. It probably was cut because she doesn't really use the disguise for anything unless it was in order to hide her identity from Makoto and Motoki (since she transforms into Sailor Moon from her "groom" disguise).

Damn I liked that part with the disguise and one liner!

I watched the first 4 Viz dub episodes. The one thing I don't like is the refusal is to have the little boy characters (not just Usagi's brother) be voiced by female voice actors. But besides that, it's pretty good and I can see it improving in the future.

By the way, can we call episode 4 "The One where Luna is an Asshole"? First, Luna insults Usagi by drawing a picture of her being fat in 6 months and later, she threatens to MUTILATE HER FACE if she didn't save her teacher!!! I know Usagi can be hard to deal with because of her childish attitude but Luna didn't have to go THAT far to order to make her point!

It's a badly written episode in general. I hate cartoon episodes about weight and body image, because like half the characters go out of their way to be jerks about it for 0 reason. Despite that, I actually liked the Sailor V chapter that used a similar topic better. Maybe because Minako and Artemis have a different, slightly more equal relationship with each other in general.

So enters Makoto. The world is nearly doomed because Usagi doesn't watch her steps and some driver is reckless. I forgot how tall Makoto was. She is really big. Usagi of course is there for the food. It seems like everyone except Usagi is good at Sailor V. Ami sees she has competition. Until "senpai" comes. Rei pinpoints her with ease. Tuxedo Creeper is still Tuxedo Creeper. Makoto naturally throws Youma around easily. Jupiter's transformation is okay. Nice seeing both plant and lightning powers. Nephrite goes gaga at her. Now it's time for Sailor Moon to step up, become leader, and defend the princess. I hope that becomes awkward later on.

Now I have aquestion, in the manga, did Usagi ever told Naru and Umino who she was, or were they chucked like in the old anime?

I wouldn't be surprised if someone mods Minecraft to include Tuxido Creeper

No. I don't believe she ever brought it up to them at all.

There was an episode of the anime late in the Black Moon art that seemed to hint that she suspected the truth however, but nothing ever came of that, and apparently, both she and Umino disappeared into the same whole that Dr. Tofu fell into.

Can't unhear Ryuko Matoi every time Makoto talks.

Neither can Ryuko's English VA.

After fifteen years, Sailor Jupiter is still and will always be my patron anime goddess. It is glorious to see her wreck shit with lightning once more. Because she's why I started watching anime, when my sister asked me to watch her stupid girly Japanese cartoons—holy shit, did that green one blow up a building with lightning?! Awesome!

I return to the cesspits and won't trouble real fans any more.

Having a Sailor Moon dub marathon on Hulu. I'm watching the theme park episode. I find it amusing that Usagi AND Rei fall for the Tuxedo Mask illusion. It makes the latter Not So Above It All.

Gotta say one thing about the animation. I find that they did succeed rather well at making Mako seem powerful in her poses. And tall. She comes across well as the Big Girl she is.

I don't find her voice reminding me so much of other roles. She sounds like Makoto Kino here.

You know, SMC is giving xxxHolic a run for its money in the Noodle People department.

It's old school shoujo, after all.
