Mila's too thin and smooth for an MMA fighter. Like she's cute and badass but she could use a bit more muscle tone you know? I always get whooped by Mila players online though, I don't know how to deal with her at all. But then again I'm really bad.
Mila's perfect for an MMA fighter! She doesn't need anymore muscle tone. She's fine. And she's cute.
"Marth likes just the tip, Lucina likes the whole thing."To be fair, modeling/texturing different body type and muscle tones, while nice, are purely cosmetic and not really needed. I mean, it kinda bugs me that all characters have a stock male/female body, but if it means a better overall game, I'll deal with it.
Not every company can have Namdai Banco money, y'know?

Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.Tina had a six pack in DOA 3 and they removed it because? She's a wrestler and she rocked it HARD.
I'm not saying these girls need to be CHYNA buff or look like Chris Cyborg(don't want) but I'M A FIGHTER should be accompanied by the girls actually looking like convincing fighters. Plus a little definition only emphasizes the "beauty in power" some of them have. I can understand the more lithe fighters like the kunoichi or Marie Rose but Tina/Mila/Rachel/Hitomi in the arms could use some toning up.
Muscles on women are not ugly, Team Ninja please realize this.

This so much. Heard they removed Tina's definition due to fan response. Yeah, some muscle tone would fit Mila and other select females nicely.
It's likely that TN is under the impression that the girls have to look like idols/supermodels to maintain their "ideal" appearance. Gives off the sad implication that the only desirable female is thin and softly built (ironic in that most females who have good figures do keep themselves in shape). That's the identity DOA has and it'd be pretty hard to stray away from given the possible backlash (although there was a good opportunity to branch out from this with 5).
I'd be lying if I said that the DOA girls don't fit my ideal preference (love how they look now). But I'm all for design versatility and there is indeed beauty in different body types (because not everyone is given the figure of, or even wants to be, a borderline underweight waif with a big bust).
Well at least they added a petite female who I've grown quite a liking to, so that's progress I suppose.

Okay. I'm gonna need proof on that. I've owned three different copies of DOA 3 and Tina didn't have abs in any of them. Was it on in Japanese copies or something?
Second, as you mentioned earlier, it was taken out due to fan complaints. TN uses the same model for all the female characters because, frankly, that's what the fans want. No sense in losing sales over something so miniscule, right?
As I'll continue to bring up until the end of time, I have Vanessa Lewis's redesign in VF 5, but if a better game and more exposure comes from it, then I'll just have to deal.
That... probably wasn't a good explanation.
Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.I wrote a review of the Ultimate Edition for my school paper. I chose a picture of Hitomi fighting Hayabusa with the caption 'It's not the girl you have to worry about' underneath.
"Marth likes just the tip, Lucina likes the whole thing."The proof is the image link in this post which I just pulled out by Google searching. Admittedly, you have to look a bit closely at her stomach when the camera decides to get up close.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. But that's the problem. I've done plenty of Google search, and I own the game. The only image of Tina with noticeable abs is that one specific image, and that one specific image is clearly not representative in the game itself because it's not actually in the game. Suspicious, no?
Therefore, that image is either photoshopped, or it's from a dev build of the game and not the consumer release.

Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.I love Tina. She's so cool and sexy.
"Marth likes just the tip, Lucina likes the whole thing."She's one of my favorites to play. I love women who can toss people around lol. She's got a lot of personality too but i hate her thong bikinis because it only draws attention to how lacking her butt is lol. But usually her outfits are some of the best. I love her ALL AMURICA from DOA 2 U and her 2nd default from DOA 5.
Speaking of muscles, anyone else think Jahn Lee looked more ripped/better in DOA 4 compared to 5? He looked TOUGH and utterly boss but in DOA 5 looks like he got out of shape. Honestly DOA 5 Jahn Lee is my least favorite incarnation of him.

I don't know about him, but DAMN Phase 4 is good.
"Marth likes just the tip, Lucina likes the whole thing."I thought she would be boring and stupid at first, but she's actually pretty nasty. i'm not a fan of her evil ryu thing with Kasumi but TBH Nyotengu > her > Marie Rose.
Marie Rose is cool, too. Not a fan of her whiny voice when she kicks, but hey.
"Marth likes just the tip, Lucina likes the whole thing."She's cool but her fighting style feels half baked and underdeveloped.
Yeah.... Her moves aren't the best. But she does have some cool ones.
"Marth likes just the tip, Lucina likes the whole thing."I know this is a DOA 5 thread, but I had to say this about 4.
Looking at some of the endings, I get the impression that it's a collection of Big Lipped Alligator Moments. I know nothing about the plot, but I would think that Kasumi's mermaid dream, Hitomi's cooking breakfast, and Christie's pornographic dancing have nothing to do with their respective plots.
What is a fandom? A miserable little pile of flame wars! 3DS FC: 0387-9377-7408 PSN ID: Raven King SageTo be fair, all of DOA's plot could be found in the manuals, that said, if you aren't a ninja, then you don't get any advancement at all and sometimes even reuse the same plot from the last game. The character endings throughout the games are moreso excuses for Team Ninja to make badass cutscenes.
That being said, when DOA Dimensions came out with its summery of the DOA 1-DOA 4 plot, it's still nothing to write home about.

Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.I need to find that game. I love this series even if it is a bit wonky.
"Marth likes just the tip, Lucina likes the whole thing."Christie is a hitwoman. It would make sense for her to impersonate a pole dancer at a nightclub in order to get to a target that frequents said establishment, and then use said job to make it easier for her to stealthily kill him. What that ending shows is simply what one day/night of her life may look like, and that her victory in the DOA 4 tournament ensured that she can maintain that life.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. That ending was Rachel's first appearance in DOA, neat trivia.
I thought overall DOA 4's endings ranged from okay to cringeworthy(Hitomi and Kasumi UGGGGH) especially after 3's which were probably the best in the franchise. But Helena's ending alone makes up for it because it was pretty epic and ties the other non-goofy endings together in a meaningful way which was cool.
It's kinda hard to top Aerosmith
Though Zack kinda ruins it

I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!I still like DOASU's intro cutscene, which gives the backstory of Kasumi and Ayane. With Aerosmith playing in the background. Because Itagaki.
It's so incredibly stupid at first, but it's just so sincere that it manages to somehow just work, which I think summarizes the entire series in a way.
This cutscene was reused in Dimensions, but without Aerosmith, it's just not the same.

Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.Forget Jacky it's all about MILA BABY.
Yes. A smoking hot but not sexualized female MMA woman who uses actual proper mixed martial arts. Just like Chuck or Forrest pick you up, slam you against the cage, then to the ground and mount you. What's not to like?
Well the signature ground n pound could be longer, and faster. That however would make her a true Game-Breaker. And the fact Zack beats both her and Tina, I cannot help but think Unfortunate Implications.
As a side note, she's a mixed martial artist right? What about some MMA gear for her? Stop pimping the soft core porn DLC, get her a Way of the Warrior shirt and I'd buy that.
