Motion to pull
Cute, but really doesn't demonstrate the trope.
It kinda does (there's a thing at the bottom that notes how a thousand cats with a power level of .5 could defeat somebody who's level 500), but it's way too difficult to make out what's going on if you don't know the context.
So seconding the motion to pull.

Reaction Image RepositoryIf it was given better quality it would be fine, but it is kind of hard to make out.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorFFS I wish my freaken scanner was working or I could get a great scan of it from my tank... this is the best I can do.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I still don't think it completely fits...that feels a lot more like Zerg Rush than this trope.
It isn't bad, but while we're at it maybe we can do better. At any rate the newer version is an improvement.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Actually, that would make a better picture for that trope, as the current one just shows a crowd of gamers.
As for this trope, how about a picture of someone doing some rapid stabbing. Is there a comic of the Prinnys of Disgaea doing their knife attack?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Just throw enough knives at the problem, and it'll work itself out.◊
Also, if we're doing Zerg Rush, I think a still from this would be pretty hilarious.

True it might be better there... the next panel.◊

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I have a good pictorial example in mind, but I dunno if it actually fits the trope...
EDIT: Read the trope page in detail, and it wouldn't work.

Byakuya Kuchiki's Bankai is this trope incarnate. He explains in the manga that the MILLIONS of cherry blossom petals he summons are each a sword, and that his enemies die because of this trope.
Would a picture of him explaining it work? Or do you actually want it being shown?

...both? Or whichever one works better.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.Part of the problem with showing it is all you see is the cherry blossoms, not the person being cut by them.
Clock is ticking. I put the larger version of the current pic on the page since quality swaps are free, but I wouldn't mind if it got moved to Zerg Rush.
"Thousand cats" is just too good an opportunity to pass up. It's close enough.
I imagine multiple panels of RPG screencaps as my ideal image. Panel one, -1 damage. Panel two, ditto. Then "7 hrs. later" we see the boss dead.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.
I see a bunch of cats swarming on something.
And...that's it.
We could definitely do better.
