^ Uh...

Anyways, I loved the first one, it's one of my top favorite movies - it's the only one where I really liked Carter's character, and it always seemed a bit more witty than the other two.

Rush Hour 2 is still on my list of good movies, though, even if Carter is mildly unbearable at times. Three is... well... it feels like a movie that had both ends cut off, but it also feels like they realized how ridiculous the series was becoming and just ran with it. It made it relatively average.

You haven't seen the third one but you thought it was mediocre?

I think he meant the first one.

Though I have to admit I hated the third one,it had none of the good characterizations, and the action seemed kind of dull.

The first one was the one where Carter was a badass Bunny Ear Lawyer and Lee was brilliant himself, the plot was good, and the climax was great. .

The second one cranked the action Up To Eleven and Lee was given a little more backstory, but Carter became insufferable at times and the plot was crazier.

Thank goodness there hasn't been a fourth one

Chris Tucker has the ability to either make a movie good or bad, he never falls into the realm of "just okay." In the first Rush Hour his character talked a lot because he found himself in bad situations and was stalling for time until he could figure out an escape. In the sequels he just kept on talking and instead of stalling for time his talking would get him into trouble, as well as digging himself a bigger hole.

Yeah well,now you've heard otherwise.

You see at times Chris Tucker kept talking, and yes you're right it did get his character into trouble and it was irritating. Other times it fell into So Bad, It's Good territory, such as in the climax.

And besides the action more than makes up for it,or at least it did until the third one came along.

It's such a shame because that chick character in the second seemed kind of interesting, but she got axed out of the third.

I've only seen the first two Rush Hours but they're definitely movies I love to keep coming back to.

Reviving a thread just to say that you don't like the film and don't understand why they like it is not what we do around here.

Closing.
