Actually, this does exist - it just was under the wrong name. The real work is Dragonfly The Next Guardian, which someone provided a link to.
Most of this conversation has been about our philosophy towards "hoaxes", not the work linked above, which is real.
And on that note, should we lock this and continue the discussion at Wiki Talk? As far as I can tell there isn't anything wrong with the page the thread is about.
Dragonfly The Next Guardian isn't the one being discussed anymore. It's not a hoax or a non-existent work.
The Prehistoric Crisis is a work that either doesn't exist or doesn't exist yet. Since we have no way of knowing whether it exists on the guy's personal computer, declaring that it's a "Hoax" is rather strong. It should go in Unpublished Works, along with all of the other works that only exist on someone's personal computer, or in a notebook, or in their head.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Yeah, I'm not talking about specific pages; I thought we already figured those out.
I'm just saying that, AFAIK our policy is that works which haven't been published yet or used to exist but no longer do belong in Unfinished Works, works that were never published can't have examples used on the main wiki, and I'm fine with that arrangement and think it's a good one that shouldn't be changed.
I guess as such if someone really wants to write up a hoax page and put it in Unpublished Works, let 'em, as there's no way to prove it's not something the troper isn't actually working on, and nobody will mistake it for being an actual existing work. IMHO that's about as far as we should bend towards such matters though.
If people want to be funny/unstuffy on the main wiki, there's plenty of honest ways to do so. Heck, I'm even in favor of this; I like humor! But, I mean, even the most informal and funny wiki I edit (TFWiki.net) still doesn't allow fake information on it.

Apparently I am adorable, but my GF is my #1 Groupie. (Avatar by Dreki-K)If an example doesn't exist, you might still list it... in the article's intro. But under works? Of course not.
Finished the move for the Dragonfly series and cutlisted the other page for not having enough content even now.
Locking this as done. A discussion on general policy for non-existent works can be taken to Wiki Talk.
I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.
Then should this move to Darth Wiki? I say yes.
