What he said. The last part, I mean.
I mean, hell, this whole fic hat its root on a fanfic project (for those who are interested, it would be Durarara/Nasuverse/Haruhisuzumiya/Persona 4 crossover) so I wouldn't be surprised that if people made fanfics or doujinshi of my works and in fact, wouldn't be a little disappointed if there isn't any fanworks on mine.
To be honest? I would even write a fanfic of my own work, containing contents that I couldn't put in the canon due to continuity and such. Oh, and the chances are there would be tons of slash-fics and the bigger chances are that I would at least enjoy some of those and make nods to them.
Wow, this thought is a great motivator.

^In it's absence, I'd begin to wonder if I was trying hard enough.
, THIS.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel."Cannon" sexuality? Now there's something I never, ever want to think about.
Seriously, people, it can't be that hard to remember which is which.
I will add Brain Bleach and I will look at the Fan Fic with discretion, but will rejoice at the Dark Fic
In an anime, I'll be the Tsundere Dark Magical Girl who likes purple MY own profile is actually HERE!^^ C'mon man, that's like expecting people to know tenets from tenants and bollocks from bullocks. Just not gonna happen.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I'd probably go "Mehr".
Seriously though, if people had time to write Rule 34 of my story, they'd be better off doing so with the original versions to whom my character are expies to varying degrees.
Support Taleworlds!^^ As in, it's a spelling error people make all the time here.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffEh, I know what you are saying. I never had to use those words or any other words that are really similar sounding so that's never been an issue for me. :/
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they slashed Unferth and Beowulf for my comic, even though that relationship feels kinda creepy to me.
Banned entirely for telling FE that he was being rude and not contributing to the discussion. I shall watch down from the goon heavens.—ahem—
You mean...you read my story...and you actually liked it? Enough so that it gave your hormones some inspiration?
—cries tears of joy—
Read my stories!I would be ecstatic. Very much so. "People write and draw dirty things of my characters? Sweet."
After all, it's a compliment, more or less. And I can think of one specific character who's relationship with his best friend is not conducive to anyone writing him as a) straight and b) not a uke.
Yeah, I'll take it as a compliment. It'll take a lot to Squick me real badly, but you know that someone cares enough about your work if they create something about it.
I would be grateful, too. Pornography is the sincerest form of flattery.
If I ever get published, and I then later stumble over some "X-rated" fanfic of my stuff, I'll simply contact my publisher and ask them what our policy is on fan fiction. Same as I would if I stumbled over some non-"X-rated" fanfic.
I would get annoyed if fanfic writers make changes, though, such as turning a pair of siblings into half-siblings to make an incest story more palatable. Or getting details of the cultures of the setting, or of the setting's magic system, wrong.
Really, I don't see how rule 34 fanfic differs from other fanfic. I guess if the publisher's fanfic policy is one of tolerance, my specific stance to rule 34 fanfic would be to request warnings and disclaimers be included, so those that don't want to read that kind of material can avoid it.
But what's the big deal? I don't get it...
I wouldn't report fanfic. So long as they weren't trying to pass my work off as their own, I wouldn't have a problem with it.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffI would point out mistakes made with the nonhuman characters. With one race that reproduces by having body parts torn off and regenerating, another that transforms part of themself into a new brain, and one that reproduces through pollination by humans, there will probably be quite a bit to correct. I would completely ignore the problems of characters being closely related or having incompatible sexualities. Heck, I'll let them get away with shipping characters who shouldn't have been able to meet each other.
Heck, I'm already planning for them to make rule 34 stuff of one of the characters with a cockroach that had ended up in the character's bed.
You know what I'd do? Once everything got released, I'd hold Rule 34 contests. The winner gets a nice shiny trophy of their favorite character!
I wouldn't be too bothered except by "breaking up" the married couples that exist in the work (I am fond of them) and I would not want the work to attract yaoi/slash fangirls (despise them) though I am neutral to "yaoi"/slash.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I know, right? I'm trying to decide if I should make the characters on the trophy naked or not...
Your publisher will make a fuss over it, though.
Hope they stick to cannon sexuality and encourage it.
