SRW (which I really need to play some of these games GD it) isn't a Gundam game though. Gundam has shit tons of games MS Saga, Dynasty Warriors Gundam, that one awesome but really short game for dreamcast, Gundam Vs Gundam series, Gundam Zeonic Front, Gundam Journey To Jaburo, that one starfox clone I can't remember the name of, the PS 1 fighting games, etc (these are just the ones I have played)
And Dynasty Warriors Gundam is fun. Although MS Saga might be my fav, classic Turn based RPG that borrows elements from Dragon Quest, Shin Megami Tensei and Final Fantasy X (although damn hard), and a decent plot that is akin to Turn A Gundam
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I'm more curious about MS Saga(which I haven't played yet).
Edit: So according to what you say and the trope page. MS Saga is a PS 2 game of a different genre than DW:G and traditional robot games where Gundam has appeared. You say it's a good game but the reviews do seem to give it a low grade. Which series of Gundam appeared here anyway?

...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuMS Saga umm it's a Turn Based RPG that uses a lot of Dragon Quest style numbers and such but uses FFX's party switching.
Let's see The world is pretty much Turn A Gundam, it's after the end and humanity is rebuilding, its more of a mishmash of tech instead of Turn A's Gone With The Wind style. Some tech still exists due to these large devices called G System which are pretty much giant replicators pop in plans and a core, out pops a mobile suit. The actual world map is earth which is cool i didn't actually notice it till after I made White Base.
The plot is standard Gundam stuff the main character wants revenge on a black zaku who destroyed his home, gets involved in a larger conflict yada encounters a Char Clone Hal who plays every aspect of Char (in an unusual order, Quattro, Char, CCA Char then back to Quattro) yada war with the moon etc.
Mobile Suits themselves are actually SD suits which is kinda weird but you can Kit Bash them all you want though give a Dom's legs to a GM or Nu's funnels to Wing Zero and paint them any color.
The game does have it's flaws though, it's HARD from the Big Zam fight on every boss fight is That One Boss (the optional after you beat the game area is just stupid.) Characters level slowly and only go up to level 50. Suits can only be upgraded to a point (meaning you have to replace suits as you go but it's no help when your stuck.)
The (English only) Voice acting is BAD, the enemy types are rather limited they do raid the MSV and face stuff like the perfect Zeong and such but there are more recolored Zaku, Hizack, Leo, Death Army etc suits than there should be (including Dragon Quest Shout-Out Metal and Gold Zaku)
Suits it covers most Gundam suits GM, Zaku 1, 2, GM Command, Gelgoog, Gyan, Gundam, Guncannon (guntank is only an enemy) most Zeta and big ZZ Gundam suits, CCA's Nu and sazabi, G Gundam's Shining and burning (master is only for after you beat the game Devil and it's cronies are all bosses) All 5 endless waltz Gundam Wing suits (Tallgeese is an optional boss only) weapons from other Gundam series do appear as loot.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I'd say that the best English games for anime would be for any Naruto console game series (bar the Broken Bond and Dragon Blade Chronicles) and Yu Gi Oh Duelists of the Roses, although those are arguable since the manga preceded both of the aforementioned anime.
If you're looking for Japanese exclusive ones, I'd recommend any Death Note-related game (except for L (w)o Tsugu Mono) and Detective Conan: Kieta Hakase (something something).
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Dot Hack or Digimon series yet. Blue Dragon is another one with an anime and a game.
Let's see, anime and manga (the first two things I thought of are manga, so I'll include them) that would make good games...
- Yureka and Half Prince are obvious choices for RPG games
- Angelic Layer would make a good fighting game
- Does Black Cat have a fighting game? If not, it should.
- A Blassreiter game would alternate between fighting and top-down shooter gameplay
- Break Blade would have a reason for the timer in a fighting game setting
- I would be a bit surprised if Cardfight Vanguard did not get a game at some point.
- I'm not sure what sort of game would fit Claymore, but I would love to play a Turn Based Strategy one. Maybe even real time.
- D Gray Man would make an interesting fighting game
- Even if Deadman Wonderland would make a good fighting game, I'm not sure I would play it
- Add Fairy Tail to the list of potential fighters
- my feelings of for a Freezing fighting game are the same as Deadman Wonderland
- OH! A Gantz turn based strategy game would be just about perfect. Aside from all the gore, of course.
That should be enough for now.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!I think that Deadman Wonderland and Fairy Tail have games and there's at least one Gantz game that isn't a strategy game. Can't remember where I saw that info.
Please tell me that's an actual game and not some masterful facsimile of one.
Thank you, and again, thank you!
Now to get me some of that.
i want a shootemup version of AZUDAI
that wai i can kill chiyochan indefinitly :3
I'm pretty sure people will take more delight in shooting you.
I want a current Generation Digimon game to come over already or be made.
I wanna see how they can implement the Digi Xros mechanic in a digimon game.
Watch Symphogear@Belian: I didn't mention Dot Hack because the series was basically made conjointly and the anime are moreso based on the games than the other way around.
Currently, I own Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2, Dragon Ball Burst Limit and Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 all on ps3, and Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 on ps2 (I had more anime games on ps2, but sold em all and only recently re-bought Budokai 3 because it's amazing).
Just ordered Dragon Ball Z Supersonic Warriors 2 on ebay, hoping to get Bleach: Soul Ressureccion on ps3 and Bleach: Dark Souls on DS later this year. For my life to be complete, I need a really good One Piece game on Ps3/ps2/wii/DS. Anybody know any good ones? :P
I've been satisfied with almost all anime based video games I've played, except for some of the Yugioh ones (*cough* Sacred Cards *cough* Reshef of Destruction)

There's a One Piece Musou game coming out on the Ps3. It's unknown if it will come out overseas, though.
There's also a Saint Seiya game coming out too, but its not known if that will come out overseas either.
Watch SymphogearYeah, I'm looking forward to the one coming out later, I meant ones already released.
There's Another Century Episode
And Scryed deserved a game
GXS too
Become the fang for those who have none! Help FanserviceFTW!Admittingly I want to see Sacred Seven have a game. I finished the anime and all I can say is that it was good.
On the otherside of the topic, I'd want So La To Ro Bo to have an anime.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuDBZ, Naruto and the .//hack series all had decent games.
I admit: I never liked fighting games unless it involves moe. Having muscly men beat each other across the map turns me off.

...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuWas that supposed to be a Stealth Pun?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Which part of that is a pun???

I was trying to point out how SRW would have been enough to promote the Gundam franchise. Mixing DW and Gundam, looks like SRW alone isn't enough anymore to promote the franchise, as they also started making games independently, albeit of a different genre.
Yeah I had played both.
Also, I know about SD Gundam G Generation. I didn't mention it because Raso didn't mention it.
