Seems fine to me. Weird glowy eyes should be a good enough clue to magic powers.
If that's the case, we should still use something more noticeable, or one that shows the power in action. The current picture demonstrates Glowing Eyes of Doom more than anything else, and it's possible a person wouldn't notice the glowing.
This is a signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.I am so sick of seeing the word "run" as a caption on the evil/danger tropes.
Fight smart, not fair. The original caption was "She can see you and your mortality.", which I added, but doubt that it's any better.

Lelouch Vi Britannia◊, he might not be a villain, but he really does look sinister, plus the eye's a lot more obvious in this picture than the current one.

I TELL YOU HWAT!Why? The image on that page is Not An Example of this trope.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThat's it, I'm taking this puppy to to Trope Repair Shop, because "Evil Eye" sounds more like a subtrope of Red Right Hand.
On that note, what Alistair Moody from the Harry Potter films? A side-by-side of him staring at something with his weird-ass eye and what he sees with it.
I TELL YOU HWAT!The phrase "evil eye" has been used since ancient times to refer to eyes with supernatural abilities. We didn't invent the term; it's been in use for millenia.
Reaction Image RepositoryYeah, this name has been around a couple thousand years too long to object to it now.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThe first one's a little better. That pic of Vecna's actually from a Deviant Art pic, so we'd need to get permission.
The first one is better. Having both eyes makes it more obvious it's not just a refection of something.

Does Pegasus count? That's not an actual eye.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyWell, it's not his eye. It's a device in his eye socket called an "eye" that gives him magical powers...

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the Sharingan◊.
I like the current picture, if only because it looks very aesthetically pleasing, but that's the personal note.
The eyes have glowing that clearly stands out, compared to the shadings of the rest of the picture. So it is possible, but not likely. Also, the glow has extremely unnatural colors that evoke rather ominous feeling. Lastly, just for your information, this pciture does not demonstrate Glowing Eyes of Doom, because as the page picture for that shows that it's the entire eyes, not just the pupils.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Well, I don't mean to be a stick-in-the-mud, but our definition of Evil Eye is a bit different than what people usually mean by the term.
Typically, the "evil eye" is a look of ill-will or jealousy so potent, it can curse the person it befalls, causing harm, even death.
But this trope seems like a playful extension of that, and is way more tropeable, so my point is moot anyway.
I actually prefer the picture already up. Seems glow-y and evil-y enough for me.
Get a slant at this glossary of Pulp Detective terms. It rates. Pipe that?
Crown Description:
This will decide the page image for Evil Eye. Vote up what you like and down what you don't. Remember that we are looking to illustrate that these are eyes that have powers, and are not simply eyes that look evil. We want to discourage eyes on characters that look evil as those cause trope confusion.
Nothing about the current picture in Evil Eye really screams "magical eye power", despite the fact that the show it comes from (I think) has a huge amount of them. We can do better than this.
