The Inferno demons aren't as well designed as the angels IMO. From a visual standpoint I mean. Like Gomaorra is cool but the scans make them look like they came from a different game. In the video it's a bit better looking.

The demons just don't have gold and marble faces plastered all over them.

They haven't said anything about a demo, but I'm reasonably sure they'll put the E3 demo in the eShop before the game itself comes out.

I'm a bit affraid of the controls during the flying phasse… the last verse of the Jubileus fight was pretty irritating in the first game…

@Jotun: Oh, that trailer. I guess the demons in it just didn't stand out as much to me, so I forgot about them.

Incidentally I just got to Jubil yesterday, but couldn't beat her due to the fatigue of playing through all of the Isla Del Sol chapters (starting with the missile segment) in one sitting. I plan to try to beat her later and maybe set about unlocking extra content (or just wait until Bayonetta 2 and do that then).

The surfing segment in that video looks pretty rad, but I hope we don't get another segment like the missile ride. It kind of made me nauseous after awhile...

Speaking of demons.

The purple guys are demonic standard enemies, I'm guessing.

[up][up]...I don't know what the flying segments even have to do with that.

Also, they control similarly to regular fights, only the Jump button now has a Dash instead.

Wow, most of the demons you fight seem to be mechanical in nature it seems. I guess that's because they are the opposite of the flesh and blood angels.

For that matter, I wonder if you will have to fight what is this universe's equivalent to the devil at the end, considering that the first game had you doing the opposite.

Perhaps you'll fight Sheba at the 2/3 mark, with the game's last act dedicated to the nebulous "Overseer".

Her appearance technically isn't major spoilers, since she shows up in what is essentially Bayo2's version of Records of Time, but I hid the name just in case some people wanted to go in blind.

And yeah the demon enemies' designs aren't as good looking as the angels. Not fond of the mecha direction.

[up][up] just because kamiya isn't direction doesn't mean the game is going to be shit. In fact the variety of weapons makes this an even better sequel already to me. None of them seem to feel the same like the leg weapons did in the first game.

Plus, the mech direction is done to contrast the organic feel of the angels, makes sense to me.

The 'damage motion' and effects posts they put up on their site are an interesting look at all the little touches that are necessary to make such a visually busy game both readable and fluid.
