PhantomPhantasmaraneae is a bossfight.
I wonder how closely it will resemble the DMC 1 boss.
Umbran Climax◊Hopefully not at all, not everything needs to be a freakin Call-Back.
Between this and Devil's 3rd wii-U seems like it's stepping up its game...let's hope all this hype delivers in the end.
I'm hopping the Bayonetta 1 port matches the performance of the 360 version.
I was joking.
It would be stupid to design the bosses with the same moveset because Bayonetta controls much more fluidly and has way more options than DMC 1 Dante.
The site says they're aiming for 60FPS.
Umbran Climax◊Well it would make sense for it to have callbacks to its old moveset, even if they would be remixed heavily to fit the game.
I am liking the theme too. The singer sounds so familiar.
The song is so Bayonetta, but the lack of Engrish makes it somehow less so... And the singer being so young even more less so.
...more less so. Makes total sense.
I really hope Bayonetta gets another music video.
What if Phantom's move set initially copied his first game move set, just as a tribute, before he realises it's not working and switches to an entirely new one.
Also, half expecting Nelo Angelo Jeanne to show up. (Bianco Diabolo?)

A corpse should be left well enough alone...I've been listening to the song on loop on the website now for maybe an hour. It's really good at energizing me into reading all of Nintendo's other E3 news.
...I still have to play through my DMC collection. I got stuck on the warping dark knight guy.
Multiplayer info was stealth-announced through Nintendo's E3 website. Here's the scoop:
Nelo Angelo eh? The key is to play more defensively. Don't attack him off the bat, wait for him to attack, and then retaliate when his combo is done. He's also open during his fireballs, but it's also best to dodge, then attack.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...The demo at E3 was new(features both the Bow from an earlier demo, as well as the new flame/freeze thrower weapon(on legs)):

Umbran Climax◊Masked Sage bossfight:
And this is just the first time she encounters him, holy crap!
Umbran Climax◊That was amazing!!!
Though...well I'm not sure about the aerial fights, they just don't look as tight as ground fighting, seems a bit awkard. The summon fighting was neat but sensory overload isn't a good thing and could possibly obstruct the action...the madame butterfly summon in full was neat the little boxing minigame looked pretty gimmicky. Not sure how I feel about cornrow kid yet, his VA is ehhhh. Also a small nitpick, but Bayo's lines midbattle aren't as good? A few sound kind of corny lol. I hope her sexuality isn't played down too much.
More miscellaneous info on Bayo 1 for Wii U. Highlights: 60 frames per second, off-TV play, and dual audio!

Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Well that's just friggen' awesome. This went from "buy once the price drops a little" to "preorder at next paycheck".
So glad the first game is included. That complaint about not being able to play the first on Nintendo consoles is now moot.
Also, heh. Flock off feather face. Nice.

Indeed, it does look awesome.
So in this game, you are now fighting demons in addition to the angels it seems. I guess that Bayonetta's pact ran out, and now the residents of Inferno are here to claim her soul or something. Either that, or the Lumen Sage is doing this, but that's a wild guess.
Wonder if the Sage will become an ally for the final fight?
As if this game couldn't get any more awesome...
Oh Snap, it's out in October.
