Artist permission not given, picture pulled: Seven Deadly Sins

It was a good picture, but whoever posted it did not get permission from its creator over at Deviant ART. I'll see if she's willing to let us use it, but for now.. any alternatives?

Good call...I've been meaning to do this and kept forgetting about it. All things considered, I kinda doubt we'll get permission to use the pic again, so we should start looking for new options.

I did write to the original and ask, but I haven't gotten a reply, so finding a new one would probably be better.

That's not only cute, but it's a lot clearer than the ladies. I like it. A lot.

Just an FYI, if you want to ask the artist of the pulled pic on DA for permission, you have to either respond to one of the artist's (as in, attitudechick's) comments or just comment directly on the picture.

Whereas if you respond to someone else's comment (Fan01) instead like you did, the artist themself will never see it because DA won't notify them, which is why you didn't get a reply.

Bearman just replied in post #13 — he found this discussion through his inbounds but didn't get the message.

sigh.. I filled out the form on his contact page. Obviously something went wrong. I've tried the email address instead.

EDIT: And that worked. Bearman gave his permission, so I've put it up. Maybe someone can come up with a clever caption; I just put in a generic artist credit. If you do change it, remember to leave the link!
