I do plan on getting it and I think I'll main Alex if I do.
"You can't escape!"
The remixed soundtrack is pure suckiness. My current plan is to buy the game, main Q for about a week or two, get frustrated, main Chun Li for a few more days, get even more frustrated, then never play the game again.
Except [condescending response follows]. Because [sarcasm here]. You do understand [snark], right? POTHOLE TO SARCASM MODEI probably won't. The game is unchanged from the version found in Street Fighter Anniversary Collection and most of the new music is terrible compared to the OST and AST there. Besides online capabilities, there's really no reason to buy it.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadPretty sure the training mode is improved, and the challenges/trials are new. HD smoothing looks a bit yuck. Old music is used in-stage by default. New menu music is actually pretty cool:
Yeah I still have Anniversary Collection, so unless I'm really dyng for online again eh I'll pass. Training modes/challenges mean really little to me honestly, especially if the challenges are anything like SF 4's.

The challenges in SFIV and MvC3 teeter on the edge of insanity at some points. Screw the achievements, I'll stick to bread-and-butter combos that aren't situational only, thankyouverymuch.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadGGPO netcode is intended to be THE selling point. Nothing like HD Remix was going to happen in a million years... redrawing the sprites would be insane, and the rebalance got a mixed reception.
One of the challenges is defeating Ryu using Akuma, on the hardest difficulty, where you have zero pixels of health. LOL
Five combo challenges per character. I wish they'd done about five times that many, but whatever.
I think this is my first fighting game with a proper record function (I skipped SSF 4). I'm parrying Shinkuu-Hadoukens in training mode right now... in about six months I should be ready to go online and lose my first game :(
EDIT: I should mention that the general bells and whistles are very similar to the recent release of Final Fight... in-game achievements and unlockable artwork and whatnot.

Watch SymphogearAnd then BUYS THE GAME ANYWAY
Ask him what he thinks about Mega Man!
Except [condescending response follows]. Because [sarcasm here]. You do understand [snark], right? POTHOLE TO SARCASM MODEThe amazing You Tube upload feature allows players to share videos of their matches online, no matter how little anyone else cares!
I have to main Q. Sadly it's not like MK 9, where you get to be top tier and have a cool hat.

Check 2:08 to see what the last scene in the Matrix would be like if Neo was played by Remy and Agent Smith was played by Gill:
How the hell? He must have had his stick on turbo or something...
Not much going on there that a turbo stick would help with, as far as I can tell. The Gill fight looks tool-assisted, but I can't say for sure.
Except [condescending response follows]. Because [sarcasm here]. You do understand [snark], right? POTHOLE TO SARCASM MODEWell something's going on. TA seems possible, if not likely.
It's got an optional remixed soundtrack, made by Simon Viklund of Bionic Commando fame. Here's (IMO) the awesomest track from the OST (note that a lot of the soundtrack is distinctly less awesome)
Are you gonna pick this game up? Who will you main?
