The list of changes for some of these would be a trillion miles long if we listed them all.....

I could go on for weeks with the Negima S1 Anime changes

I am kinda debating on formatting.

General Changes (In name only ect)

Adaptation Alternate Character Interpretation.

Lets see example:

Nodoka

  • Adaption differences
    • Negima!:
    • Negima?!:
      • Her armor card pactio is in fact Yue's manga pactio item.
  • Dye job: Mahou Sensei Negima

I don't thing Negima is a good place to start. WAY too many changes and adaptations. Let's start with something that is more clear cut and come back to it once we have a better idea of what we think the information should look like.

My thoughts on how it could look without having to go into episode vs chapter differences and no mention of places that the anime does not cover/splits off because there are not any (changes described are from the anime because it was a manga first)

Toriko

  • Plot changes
    • Minor filler
  • Character changes
    • Added a female reporter character to the cast who ends up following Toriko around looking for a major scoop.
    • Gives Zombie Zongi (spl?) more chances to provide comic relief.
  • Event changes
    • Makes the Evil Organization sound like they care about Toriko even before he does anything particularly noteworthy.
    • Komatsu follows Toriko to the Woo Jungle to find a special ingredient.

A list of other fairly easy series to start out with:

  • One Piece (mostly have to focus on the filler)
  • Bleach (same)
  • [too tird to think up more names right now]

And a bit more of a challenge would be:

  • FMA (manga vs 1st anime vs Brotherhood)

I am amused that you guys are taking this so seriously.

^^ That one can be summarized fairly easily: The first season was about half faithful adaptation and half filler while the second season season was mostly faithful adaptation with next to no filler.

^ You'd be surprised what people with nothing better to do, will do.smile

[up]Yes, but with a lot of people asking "where to start" after watching, you sorta have to explain that season 1 made plot holes, because casual viewers I see tend to hate season 2 because of the so-called ignoring of half of season 1. tongue

I'd like season 2 better if it hadn't skipped to many chapters, including two of my favourites... but that's neither here nor there.
