@Bobby:

If this war ran on anything close to logic, it wouldn't exist in the first place.

No, you're Talleyrand.

Yeeees, that dude was one hell of a Magnificent Bastard.

@Bobby: You'd go with Homestuck? That really surprises me, considering your choice in avatars.

Well, I love my little bronies, but I think I'd prefer to be part of a joint coalition (mostly because I think I'd love Homestuck if I could get through the boring beginning).

@ Milos: I Don't Know What You're Talking About

OK, seriously? MLP:FiM has a more expressive artstyle, so I prefer it for avatars. But MLP:FiM is just an entertaining cartoon, whereas MSPA is, if not my favourite work of fiction, then certainly my favourite drawn/cartoon series.

If it comes between Doctor Who and Homestuck...?

Tell me, so I know if I'll have to shoot you early, Boberto.

Doctor Who is the only thing that gives me misgivings about declaring MSPA my favourite.

If it came down to choosing between the two... I'd probably have to choose Doctor Who, if only because that represents 5 years of nostalgia and literally changed the way I look at the world.

It's close, though. Very close. The uncertainty comes from the fact that, while Doctor Who has had the occasional episode that's made me think, "Wow, that was kind of stupid," I don't feel that MSPA has really taken a wrong step since Hussie abandoned Bard Quest.

but...it gave you "The Doctor's Wife"

I'll fight for Homestuck the day Gaiman himself writes for it.

Until then, it's Sandman and Who for me. :D

One of these days, I'll stop by the library and get the first three seasons of Doctor Who and not leave my house for three days.

Gaiman once linked to the webcomic of someone who's done some Homestuck fanart. That's practically the same thing as writing for it,everypony knows that.

"The Doctor's Wife"... OK, that one's special. That one really speaks to my inner Eleven fangirl. Also, I literally cannot watch it without laughing out loud, shivering and crying my eyes out, sometimes simultaneously.

If I had to choose, that episode alone beats the entirety of Homestuck hands down.

"Victory of the Daleks", on the other hand...

Just watch season 5. It's got fezzes and bowties and Amy and romans and lizards and vampires and van gogh and the pandorica.

It's just that good.

^Fairly sure it was a joke.

Also, I liked "Victory" sad

I'll be chilling with my girlfriend in Switzerland. As much as I love Homestuck I am not willing to defend it against the evil pony menace.

I think everybody loves The Doctor's Wife. The best part is that it really works on its own. Sure, there's foreshadowing for what happens in "A good man goes to war", but I'm fairly sure that anybody can watch it without feeling lost.

As long as they know the premise, that is.

The Doctor's Wife" was indeed amazing, but for me it doesn't even approach Homestuck as a whole. I guess that just shows where I fall in the Game of Fandoms.

Though it seems I'm obligated to bomb Switzerland, since it's harboring Aondeug.
