Don't let a lot of Scots hear you say that.
And don't tell Sean Connery.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/Look,Chris Columbus,Alfonso Cuaron,Mike Newell, and David Yates all cast some Irish and Scottish actors
I mean Dumbledore was portrayed by two Irish guys,Maggie Smith and Brendan Gleeson and David Tennant are Scottish
Brendan Gleeson is Irish. He was born in Dublin.
And let us pray that come it may (As come it will for a' that)I thought so. He is in The Guard (an Irish film).
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/I know it's been pointed out, but let's just make this abundantly clear, shall we. Britain =/= a synonym for England. Britain = the union of England, Wales and Scotland.
Derp, my bad. Fixed.

With cannon shot and gun blast smash the alien. With laser beam and searing plasma scatter the alien to the stars.I just realized that Matt Smith= the closest actor to the Lupin in my head, and damn close (not coincidentally) to the Lupin illustrated. If only they had also cast the rest of the Marauders closer to their early-thirties ages (so as not to make him *really* obviously younger than the rest of them) his old-young-man vibe would have been perfect.
Britain= England + Scotland + Wales, not Ireland. That's why you say the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
I would have liked to see Dominic Monaghan in there somewhere, no idea as who though.
A Weasley?
ophelia, you're breaking my heartDominic would have been a great Weasley! Pity he isn't younger or I would have suggested Fred & George... But maybe he could have played Bill or Charlie.
And Ewan is in? YAY! Okay, fine, Matt Smith as Lupin and Ewan can be Sirius via hair-dying. I think he'd look... interesting... with dark hair.
I personally picture Rolf Scamander as Matt Smith. Pity he only exists in supplementary information...
Yeah... at times I wonder if JK Rowling doesn't realize we prefer literary worlds to be far neater than the real one and for beloved characters to get together with characters we've at least read about...
Otherwise she wouldn't have killed off Hedwig. THE OWL!
Off topic... anyway, what about Colin something-or-other. The one that plays Merlin on "Merlin". He'd make an adorable Regulus in flashbacks!
UK actors, then.
...Scotland is part of Britain.
Also, Nthing Matt Smith.

Da Rules excuse all the inaccuracy in the world. Listen to them, not me.
