Ok, where are these stories?

Off to wash dishes. If I can, I'm going to write the first part of my contest entry in my creative writing class.

Well, I think I know what my two themes are now. Had to scrap my original idea, but I think I can make this work.

I would like to participate, I think.

I ams sitll in planing stages. I want to reedem myself this time for real!

Okay, I think I got it. I've got an idea. I'm still missing a couple of rather important pieces of the plot, but I can make those two up along the way. I'm ready to write.

( You worry too much about last time. Not only there are vast experience differences from the "pros" and the rest of us, english is not even your native language. So don't feel too bad about it.)

I'll give it a shot. I've been meaning to do some actual writing again, rather than all this dreary term paper stuff.

I have about five hundred words.

Does not look as good as I remember. Plenty of fluff to cut, I think.

Found out I couldn't make my plot fit more than one theme. Kept an idea, changed everything else completely, and started it. I've got 63 words so far.

Finished the story I wanted to finish before I finished another story I wanted to finish before I started writing the story for this contest. Good thing the deadline's a ways off . . .

As long as it's not a fanfic and you fulfill the requirements, I don't see why not.

Decided to put off the stuff I was working on and get straight to work on the contest entry. I'm about a fifth of the way through the first draft.

You know what, I'd actually like to give this a try. Sign me up!

I couldn't find anything about this in the rules, but does it have to be in a normal writing style? Could it be in a script style? As in, line by line, while saying the actions (and possibly camera shots)?

If the rules don't say you can't, I think it's pretty much fair game.

Fairytales usually have no canon, and no "true" version. My favourite version of Little Red Riding Hood is the one retold in Jin Roh. It was scary as shit.
