Well El Salvador is hopping in with Russia and China with the latter's foreign ministry telling everyone to leave Maduro alone.

BBC got some documents linked to the Venezuelan military and they're trying to take care of rising dissent with desertion and in some cases, pillaging food and other basics.

Some desertions were reported with the National Police. No info on SEBIN, but I'm assuming that they're loyal to Maduro by extension.

Meh, with what's happening in the middle east that's to be expected. Putin isn't going to ignore his chance of opposing the US over here either.

Let's hope the situation with the military continues to escalate.

The G7 and the EU have also condemned the election as a farce.

and the sad thing is that Maduro boycotted the 2015 parlamentary elections in Venezuela, in which the Democratic Unity Roundtable won over the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole by a landsline. sure, politician's don't take eletoral lossses well, but how can a goverment operate when the opposition has a vast majority, how Maduro created a second parliament if in the 1st parliament the Democratic Unity Roundtable has a vast majority?

The participation was so bad that not even they were able to inflate the numbers as much as they wanted, it was lower than 40% even with all the government did to get people to vote.

Right now the opposition has gone back to getting some internal struggle, but at least there are protests daily even without their help so It's just a matter of time before things get heated up. There are hundreds of rogue military members in jail right now.

Recently, the OAS did a report that accuses members of the Venezuelan government of crimes of lesser humanity. I hope a lot of these corruption cases go out into the light. Maria Gabriela, the daughter of Chavez, is most likely the richest person of Venezuela. So much for someone who said that being rich is evil...

I've noticed a large part of the international community are giving us way too much attention. I'm glad the pressure against the Venezuelan government is increasing, but at the same time It's frustrating how the situation feels like an endless stalemate. Recently the EU sanctioned 11 more members of the government although their names aren't known yet.

There was something like a stoppage from the nurses in Venezuela. The nurses in all regions of the country protested today against the government.

Let the pressure increase. Those fuckers don't deserve to be ignored.

On a slighter positive note, I made an creator page for Dross Rotzank, because I was bored and told myself to do it since last year. I also read Luna de Pluton. Its okay.

The nurses protested for the fifth time in a row this couple of days. There was supposedly something like a coup plot during the electoral campaign but it got frustrated. I hope more military members also go rogue.

Well, I just saw a new of BBC taking about the forced stirilization in peru under fujimori and I make a mistake of looking the coments.

For peruvins here, you should already know what to expect.

A huge bunch were about "well, they were poor and have a lot of kids so...." a few in plan "nobody helps anyone" and quite a few "fujimori was bad but that was good", in general I have a sense of "I never suffer this so I find good", also there was a good part of "People are poor because they chose to be".

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

This is old news by a few months, but I read up on Miguel Rodríguez Torres, ex-head of SEBIN, was arrested by his own comrades for conspiracy against the government.

Caracas mentioned that he was trying to sow dissent in the military.

[up][up]Mostly the fact people didnt care because it wasnt them, latin american is very conservative so there is this sense of "poor people are poor because they wanted" mentality, and when they do, they usually go overboard and join comunist ideology.

We just cant fucking win.

I was without Internet for like 2 whole months because of different problems over time, Including the very same people of CANTV stealing the cables, but I finally got it working again. But I wouldn't be surprised if things get fucked again...

Today there was a march in front of Miraflores by the medics. Those guys have been having something like a strike asking for better working conditions for 53 days now. There is a lot of rejection against the goverment even among the military and I wish I could say those are good news and they kind of are, but despite the fact that Maduro was accused of corruption by the tribunal of justice on the outside, very few members of the congress are willing to do something about it. So I doubt that the opposition as a whole will be willing to work together in order to meaningfully pressure the government soon...

I'm really cynical about opposition politicians, makes me uneasy with the situation getting worse everyday. There were a lot of floods in Bolivar recently and people's houses were destroyed and since there is a medicine shortage people are in danger because of recent outbreaks. Stay safe everyone...

What opposition? The opposition is freaking dead. Chavismo won, and now the parasites they long ignored are eating them. Chavismo will disappear, eaten by themselves, leaving the country in ruins and with decades to recover.

My sister is leaving the country to go to Peru. I'm not sad at all. I'm happy she is leaving this garbage dump of a country.
