Mario Kart DS had the best Battle mode. The fact that it has not been brought back should be a crime.

The only battle mode I've enjoyed extensively is the Bob-omb mode in Double Dash.

Mostly bragging rights; the gold kart is similar to another kart that I can't remember and the gold tires have some slight variance with the slick tires. Obviously gold parts don't trump anything or we'd have a lot more people using them.

Hi everyone! I used to not be very bad at Mario Kart 8, but I'm probably rusty, now. I always play as Toadette. Because she's one of my favourite Mario World characters.
I never did learn how to fire-hop, though.

Huh, I didn't figure I lost that much. I actually got to around VR 7000 before they raised the max point score and I decided getting max points wasn't worth it anymore.
Out of curiosity, what are everyone's mains/kart builds? Personally I mostly use Waluigi on Circuit Special, Slick Wheels, and whatever glider that has more acceleration over weight.
