Three examples is enough to launch, but this is a trope that's extremely common and people need to know the thing exists and has replaced Ho Yay. Also, of those dozen wicks, a lot of the examples came from me, meaning just about all the examples came from anime or visual novels because I don't watch many movies, I don't watch live action tv and I don't really see the trope much in the literature that I read. Hell, I don't even watch the kind of anime or VNs where the trope is particularly common or likely to be looked for by fans, meaning the trope may not thrive.
