Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! I'm editing this OP and pinning it to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.

OH MY GOD, SHIBA THOR.
My various fanfics.Perhaps its the director attached.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Photoshop < drawings of dogs < pictures of dogs in an actual group. :P
Re: Scar Jo's hair: like you said, it changes all the time. The difference between Iron Man 2 and Avengers isn't really that significant except for length. Her Winter Soldier style is only notable because she's straightened it.
Looking at it another way, her hair in Iron Man 2 was a test style, her Avengers hair is her default look, and Winter Soldier's look was an intentional shift to show how she's in a different place after New York, similar to Steve's darker, sleeker SHIELD uniform.
Bring back Steve's Winter Soldier uniform, pls.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Nice analysis. I agree.
I like Steve's Age of Ultron outfit. It actually looks like a good mix of his World War 2 and Winter Soldier outfits, IMO.
It looks kinda goofy. But nowhere near as bad as his Avengers outfit.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."On Black Widow's hair... I have no idea on the technicalities or if it would have been a problem in the first place, but Scar Jo was pregnant during production and they used like three stunt doubles and CGI'd her head onto them a lot from what I understand. Maybe having the shorter hair style helped make that easier?
You there! Check out my Youtube Channel! The power of Ponies compel you!Shorter hair certainly would make it easier, but in this case, Joss Whedon also simply likes her with short hair. I am not bothered by the changing hair at all because it fits the character to change it regularly.
Shipping Steve with Bucky is a little bit problematic at this point because Bucky is not really in his right mind.
And is kinda, sorta, a mass murderer. Yes, he was brainwashed, but I don't see any form of reality where Tony is cool with Steve bumping butts with the guy who murdered his parents.
My various fanfics.... Why does Tony matter in this scenario? Also, as you said: Brainwashed. Bucky, if he were to recover from his brainwashing, would not be responsible for his actions. He's a victim, not a villain.
Also, I would generally assume any scenario where Steve and Bucky end up a couple would involve Bucky healing, first. I'm not sure why you wouldn't?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I'm more concerned about how Widow appears in the Avengers movies themselves than how she appears outside of them. She didn't really have a personality in Avengers 1 - really, she didn't have a decent personality until Winter Soldier, and I've been concerned that she might regress back due to the changing of hands between writers and directors.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. We don't even know if Bucky killed Tony's parents. A fake accident is not exactly the kind of job you pick the winter soldier for.
I disagree...for me The Avengers was the movie which gave her a personality, though Winter Soldier built up on it further.

@Superheroes as animals: Actually, a couple of years back Marvel did a number of variant covers showing just this. I'll try to find some of them so you can see what Marvel would have them be if they were animals:
- Cap surprises no one.◊
- Wheel on fire!◊
- Classic X-Men.◊
- AI.◊
- The Rooster and the Fox, an Aesop Fable.◊
- Hawkeye...◊
- How will he get out of this one?!◊
- DOOM balloon.◊
- The Guardians in their first redesigned outfits that are all bad except for Gamora's.◊
- Captain Marvel.◊
- X-Men, welcome to DINE!◊
- What he does is be adorable.◊
- Even as a duck Black Widow keeps her zipper down when she isn't in her own book.◊
- What's the plural of platypus?◊
- Just because he was a secret assassin for the russians for most of his life doesn't mean he has to be a bear.◊
@Shipping: Over the years Marvel has tried to pair Carol Danvers off with pretty much everyone depending on the writer but none have lasted. The pairing that the fans seem to like the most is one that would probably never happen in the pages or on screen(Carol Danvers x Jessica Drew).
I thought the one everyone liked was Carol and Peter.
OH MY GOD, ROCKET IS THE ONLY ONE THAT'S NOT A RACCOON.
My various fanfics.I'm not too much into furries, but Furry!Captain Marvel is cute.
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.They were about equal for a time when the Spider-Man writers teased it non stop but it kind of fizzled out when the next writer took over and wanted to push his Spider-Man ship forward.
It takes two to ship headlining characters. The securest ships are within books or cross books that a single author is writing.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersYep. And the volume where Carol took up the name of Captain Marvel(volume 7)could have had "And co-starring Spider-Woman◊" on the cover for how much she showed up compared to every other character.

I take it you folks know about this one:

?
WS was the best he's ever looked but I like the Age of Ultron suit. It's miles better than his Avengers one.
It's probably just aesthetic switches between the different directors and costume designers. For instance the main reason Whedon introduced a new Iron Man suit at the climax of Avengers is because he apparently hated the new suit they gave Tony in Iron Man 2.

Considering the subject matter and the article you link is nearly a month old, yes.
Someone did a mash up with Spider-Man.
