All right, guys. The chopper is approaching base. I need a post from each of you, or at least a coupla posts total, before we land.

I'm driving (IC), I can't post.

Or rather, the situation is as such that any post for Crash would be ultimately meaningless.

Well, you could post that you just drove into the base.

That could prove expensive.

I can't double-post on a RP thread. It brings bad luck. And edits do not show as new on fellow players' browsers.

Sorry I've been away for so long, guys. Could I ask for a recap? Just need a reference as to where to drop Arianna :D

The players have just gotten back to base. The Commander and a couple of Vietnamese Public Security goons are about to officially arrest the Thai ambassador as a terrorist. Becky is wounded, about to get surgery.

After we wrapped up the interrogation and surgery, I was planning on doing an one-month Time Skip to the time of Becky's recovery.

Hopefully it'll be exciting later on.

Y'all are going to steal a Japanese sub from a shipyard in South Korea, so fuck yeah!

What class?

Soryu, Oyashio or Harushio?

An Oyashio, currently undergoing repairs in Busan. The mission is to hijack that ship and get it to Cheng City.

Hopefully there'd be a story as to why a JMSDF (I'll assume it still is) submarine is in the ROK.

A malfunction after a clash with a North Korean midget sub (which was sunk). The Jap sub was badly damaged and needed both evac and immediate repairs. After a tense round of negotiations, South Korea grudgingly agreed to let the sub dock for repairs (For an outrageous fee).

Of course, South Korea doesn't particularly like Japan, so they won't actively protect their sub. The Japanese Naval Self Defense forces sunk an Initiative torpedo boat, and the higher-ups believe Operation:Payback will teach a lesson to the JSDF.

Heh. Interesting considering IRL, they've got an equal stand against certain things. Like North Korea.

Oh well... this'll pop up a lot of questions. Like why the JMSDF in-universe can't repair it at home?

Guess the assets of RVI'll be updated...

The Japanese can't repair it at home because it was badly damaged on Korean waters (by their common enemy, the North Koreans). It was in too bad a shape to transport to Japan except via towing, and you wouldn't tow a nearly-sinking sub through the Pacific if you can reasonably avoid it (for example, stopping at a neutral country for repairs)

I'll assume that the JMSDF is a bit different in terms of their ROEs when the damage took place to the Oyashio-class submarine? (e.g. They were a bit almost out of territorial waters?)

South Korea, huh? Boy is Kyung Ah going to have fun with that! Especially stealing a Japanese submarine..

Wait, is Rebecca being brought out to the stretcher, or is she having to haul he busted ass out of the chopper herself?

The former.

I was wondering where Arianna would go after getting off the chopper :D

Still, it's starting to look more like an Useful Notes section than a Trope Page. Someday or another, we'll actually have to start putting tropes and examples on it.

I'd like to, but some things are coming up soon, so I don't know how to handle that part.

Hopefully it won't be a pain to read over how many pages we got in the RP page.
