This guy should be tried and possibly impeached immediately (with a quick recall election afterwards, with a more sane Republican candidate). Child support is just as serious as taxes and if you don't pay, you should pay the consequences.

If the Doozers ruled on the case, it would be like this. [1]

Thread necro for more news: Joe Walsh receives "Family Values" award while he still hasn't paid said child support.

Furthermore, the award comes from the Family Research Council, which is categorized as a Hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, for goodies such as this:

“…one of the primary goals of the homosexual rights movement is to abolish all age of consent laws and to eventually recognize pedophiles as the ‘prophets’ of a new sexual order.” —”Homosexual Behavior & Pedophilia,” a FRC publication, July 1999,http://www.frc.org/misc/bl057.pdf

And more recently, this one:

“Islam represents the greatest long term threat, homosexual agenda is the greatest immediate threat,” and homosexuality is a “public health hazard.”

The Southern Poverty Law Center actually has the guts to call the Family Research Council a hate group? That's the greatest news I've heard today, and my respect for the SPLC has increased significantly.

There are two kinds of politicians who do immoral things: hypocrites, and people who don't expect to be held to a moral standard in the first place. Social-con morals are often moronic, and his transgression was not against one of the moronic standards, but on general principle, it's better to pay lip service to morality than to embrace your inner bastard. (For an extreme example, take Thomas Jefferson.)

@Post 27: And those morons can go choke on a bag of dicks.

Seriously; do his supporters even read the news? WTF, Republicans.

[up][up] They read the papers that have been bought by the party. Which is about 85% of them.
