Constant Payne
....WhyThe original X-men of the late 80s!
Actually, I'm trying to think of some other cartoon pilots I've seen, but I'm blanking.
Robotech II maybe?
The milky way and the galaxy girls.
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love. Here's a mention The Modifyers.
Are you sure that was meant to be a pilot?
....WhyPlastic Man: I saw it and it's really good, very nice animation and I loved the humor.
The Finkel Archives: This was a comedy about a Jewish kid in a Rabbi's School; not really that great, but I think it had its potential
That Pen Ward one was adorable.
My vote: Doug Lawrence's "Hairballs". I love showing it to people and watching them flip out and get angry when that mouse dies.
If backdoor pilots count, I wish we had gotten a King Arthur spinoff from Gargoyles.
It seemed like it was more like a short than a Pilot.
....WhyI'm not sure if it could be called a pilot, but I really wish they did a Daredevil cartoon out of those two thinly disguised episodes from that Spiderman show—not the sixties (or was it fifties?) one nor the other with Starfire and Ice... Man (I think?).
I was really hoping The Modifyers pilot would get picked up by someone. Maybe not Nickelodeon, with what they've become nowadays, but perhaps CN or The Hub. I think the pilot had a LOT of potential, and I'm still keeping hope that The Modifyers will pull an Adventure Time one day.

I've heard somewhere that this is going to become a part of Cartoon Network's DC Nation
http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phpI definitely have to second Danger Planet.
I put on my robe and tinfoil hat...I have to second The Modifyers...
I would've taken that over BS like the Mighty B! anyday (The only reason that got made over the Modifyers is because Amy FUCKING Poehler shoved monbey in Nick's faces, as far as I'm concerned).
This is where I, the Vampire Mistress, proudly reside: http://liberal.nationstates.net/nation=nova_nacioDid Constant Payne get mentioned? Oh good, I really would love to see that develop into a series. Shows shouldn't get canceled because of one scene that can be changed. I'm aware that's not the only reason, but that doesn't mean it can't get picked up eventually.

Why the hell hasn't this masterpiece been mentioned yet?
The Modifyers deserved to be picked up.
signature lineI think one was called "Calibron" or something. It was a short on that one nicktoon show that did shorts. It had a sword that transformed into anything the use told it to. Looked really cool, and was an action series.
Fight smart, not fair.Battletoads. If only to give us more cheap laughs at its ineptitude.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Plasticman, Modyfiers, and the Wacky Races one. What happened to intelligent, good humor, and stuff like that? Oh wait, children these days like mindless cartoons that are about bright colors, bodily functions, and bad character designs.
Often times a studio is handed a short film, and usually they broadcast it along with a whole bunch of other shorts. One of those shorts becomes the show but the other doesn't get picked up. Which would often lead people thinking how that would have been as a show. So what are animated pilots that were made that you wished were picked up? Name the short and give a reason on why it would have been a good show.
Aside from What A Cartoon having a BUNCH of good stuff(Which would lead to some of the well known shows on the network). I think the two shorts that I wished that were picked up as shows were Malcom and Melvin and Shake and Flick. I think Malcom and Melvin would have been Hanna-Barbara's first PG rated cartoon. It would have even gotten some things past the cenors, and it would be more appealing to show on tv then something like TDI. Regarding on Shake and Flick, I heard that there was demands for a show but the votes were tied on Johnny Bravo.
Then there's also the cartoony Plasticman and Korgoth. Nothing else is needed to be said.
