Bring it in the TF 2 topic.
I have a message from another time...But...but...I'd have to threadhop!
You forgot the Engineer. He's the closest to a good guy.
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOIAll- True Neutral.
They're working for a paycheck.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.That's why they'll never be good, the problem is that many of them seem to be in this for far more than a paycheck
- Scout - Chaotic Neutral leaning heavily towards evil.
- Soldier - Chaotic Evil. The guy collects severed heads and murders anyone who comes to his door that's not a soup salesman.
- Pyro - Chaotic Evil, duh.
- Demo - True Neutral leaning towards Neutral Evil. The guy quite happily lobs explosives around and revels in blowing his enemies into little bloody scraps.
- Heavy - Chaotic Neutral leaning toward Neutral Evil. The guy is probably borderline schizo and gets a real kick out of mowing people down with his minigun. His own bio states he pretty much just tolerates the existence of the rest of the team.
- Engineer - True Neutral leaning towards Chaotic Neutral. The guy sawed off his own hand.
- Medic - Chaotic Evil, all the way. The guy only heals his teammates so he'll have the opportunity to hurt people more.
- Sniper - True Neutral. The guy sees sniping as his job. He's good at it, he does it, but he doesn't seem to get the perverse joy out of it that most of the team does.
- Spy - Chaotic Evil leaning towards Neutral Evil.

"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritOh, I forgot the soldier's macabre tendencies. Though I'd say he definitely aspires to be lawful.
Also: The Administrator is without question lawful evil.
He might think he's lawful, but he's out of his mind. Remember his 6,000+ man killing spree across Europe that didn't end until 1949?
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritSniper strikes me as more Lawful Neutral. He definitely has a whole code of ethics thing going on.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.I can see that aspect, maybe give him a "Leaning towards Lawful Neutral," bit. At the end of the day though he's a contract killer, which is going to involve violating a lot of laws, morals, and basic codes of conduct. There aren't many strong law abiding systems where "assassin," is considered a valid career choice.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritToo literal of a definition, think stereotypical Australian. All the men there are honor bound into one on one combat, honorable duels and what not. He's an honor bound contract killer who does his job solely because it's his job and the job comes first. It's not the most moral ethics system ever, but it's one that gets the JOB done.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated. It's not too literal. The guy isn't getting in one on one duels. Watch Meet the Sniper. Most of the people he caps never even knew he was there. Once they did, he bugged out. There's no honor in that, he's a killer. Even going by TF 2's definition of Australian... hell especially by TF 2's definition of Australian he's not lawful. At the end of the day the guy is a killer and not just of people who threaten him. Again, Meet the Sniper, he makes it clear he's not picky about who he kills so long as someone pays him to do it. That's not lawful (aka Rule Following) behavior.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritThat's incredibly lawful though, the rules are defined by the paying customer. He's kind of like a knight or something except bound by payment. Plus, he did go over the rules of being a sniper that he never breaks. It seems like he follows those to a T plus whatever the customer demands.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated. He takes orders from customers well. He then in the process of following those orders breaks every other law and social more out there. Lawful is an overall respect for the rules, order, and social mores. A contract killer, even one who follows directions well, is showing an overall disdain for rules, order, and social mores except in one or two areas. Overall a contract killer is neutral AT BEST.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " SpiritEh, sure I'm willing to settle at True Neutral then for him.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.
I don't think there's even a single good-aligned character in there. Maybe the sniper. Maybe.
