Masha's expression brightened, a little, when the man mentioned friends. She had friends... she didn't see any of them here, but she had friends.

"Y-yeah, I have friends! There's Cirno-chan, and Mystia-chan, and Shameimaru-san, and Kirisame-san... but... I don't see any of them here..." she gave the field another quick glance, and merely saw the fighting, and quickly looked away before she could get ot startled.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

Neroth replies with an equally strongly worded speech as he struggles to break free.

"Unhand me you filthy, overgrown toy! And I highly doubt a moron like you has the logical capacity to do such a thing without hurting yourself in the process."

As the Sorcerer talked trash, he was busy prepping a chains of torment spell.

Mehir looked around. This was one huge mess, to be sure; many... things were there, including multiple humans in weird garbs; the Doctor and two Companions of his; a girl with something resembling a mushroom on her head; a talking, upright racoon; a giant contraption; a smaller one; and something that looked like a Kirios, but wrong. This is worse than the Tharis invasion, he thought glumly. And I have no-one beside me this time, except for the Doctor. What a mess. He looked around, looking for someone who wasn't shooting or screaming, and then heard the Drone refer to Avatars. "Why, yes," he said, surprised. To the Doctor: "I'd rather not. This is worse than the Tharis, and I don't have anybody to fight alongside me."

Shotaro was hit by the glob of oil. Shotaro rose from the puddle. "Was that your best? Should I even consider you a Dopant?" Shotaro said before counting to throw punches at the robot's leg.

Okay so what the heck was going on here? He knew that he passed on again, which means that this has to either be the afterlife, or another Grail War. Seeing as how there were crazy people running around and fighting each other, so the later one was more likely. Archer chose to remain invisible and intangible for a moment, trying to figure out what was going on.

Xigbar, as the man would have himself called as, stopped walking as he saw the fights occur. He shook his head slowly, not wanting to get mixed up in that tussle, decided to move far away from it, while heading to a group of people that were simply chatting. He put his hood on, just in case, along with inserting his hands into his pockets, continuing his trek to the group.

As he was walking, he kept a critical eye on his surroundings, furiously taking in information that may provide some use later on. He stopped walking as he arrived to his destination. Deciding on entering the conversation, he asked,"Any idea how we got here?"

"Look, lad," said the Autobot, suddenly putting the sorcerer on the ground and suddenly relaxing. "Why don't we all just take a step back first and figure out where we are before we start whalin' the energon outta one another? 'Cause if I'm gonna kick your skidplate then I'm going to be wantin' to know where I did it."

-Van Helsing regarded the oddly dressed newcomers with bemusement-

"Have you not noticed the rampaging metal giant?"

Neroth looks over at the guy who taunted the robot.

"I know not if I should pity you or mock you for your futility..."

And when Neroth was put down, he was about to cast his spell up until the Xeno said to calm down.

"Hmmmm... I suppose it is a good idea. Xeno filth."

He undoes the spell and makes his staff float using his psychic powers.

to The Doctor. "Hi there. Say, you wouldn't happen to know what's going on, would you?"

Masha blinked. She'd never been told that before... well, except from Shameimaru-san. Once, about a month ago. This reassured her a little bit.

"Um... do you know where we are?"

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

Cletus clapped at the show the armored man and giant robot. He pointed at the robot. "I like you. You're threatening."

...and that's terrible.

My name is Tobias.

I can't tell you my last name, or where I live, or even my identity. Even the slightest slip of information could mean the end; both for me and for the human race. Here's what I can tell you - I'm not a normal kid. I mean, I guess I used to be. It's hard to remember sometimes... feels like it's been so long ago since then. My life wasn't that great back then, you could even say that it's improved since that day. That fateful day when we walked through the abandoned construction site.

It's true, the Yeerks are still invading our planet and we're fighting a losing battle...but days like these are days when I can forget about that. There's nothing like soaring through the sky and feeling the wind and sun on your back, I can't even describe it. Today was a normal day, or at least as normal as it can get, for me. No word from the others and no mission, so it was as good a time as any to start hunting. It was a clear day in the meadow, a perfect time for flying.

You're probably wondering why a boy like me is talking about flying and hunting, so I'll try to make it short. I'm not a boy, not anymore. I can be a boy for two hours at a time, but that doesn't make me any more of a boy. I stayed too long as a hawk, and now it's what I am. A nothlit, that's what Ax calls me. I'm the example of what happens when you stay in a morph too long, after the two hours.

Maybe I should back up a little. My friends and I were given a gift, something no one else can do. We can morph into any animal, so long as we acquire it first. It was given to us by an andalite

named Elfangor, before he died in that abandoned construction site we just happened to walk through. Just a chance encounter, a whim, and we were thrown into an invasion. Now it's the six of us versus the Yeerk Empire. The Yeerks aren't all that threatening on their own, but they can infest someone and disguises themselves easily as them. They could be anyone. Your teacher, your neighbor, your brother, anyone.

But this story isn't about that. It's something different entirely and if I wasn't there to see it, I wouldn't have believed it myself. And it all started so normally too...but everything that happens to me starts off so normally. I've gotten used to it, to be honest.

It was on that day, while I was out searching with my sharp eyes, that it had happened. I hardly even noticed it at first, the change was so subtle. Nothing had really changed; it was still a meadow, and it was still a clear day. But I noticed it, the slight change in the thermals and dips. Being a hawk makes you notice those kind of things, and the air had definitely changed.

I brushed it off as first, told myself it was nothing, but that was before I noticed the much bigger difference. From where I was, my vision spotted something that was definitely out of the ordinary.

A giant humanoid robot. It reminded me a little of those Transformers I used to play as a kid, only much more metallic and fiercer looking. I've actually met a few robots before, like Erek and the Chee, but nothing like this.

<Woah, I could have sworn that wasn't there before...> I thought to myself...or...well, let me put it this way - thoughtspeech is like thinking only with a messaging system. You can privately thoughtspeak eachother, or publicly announce it. The shock of seeing a giant robot in a meadow had made me forget to put a cap on it, so I unknowingly announced it to everyone in range. But another thing about thoughtspeech is that it's only capable in morph, or else it's a one way system.

But inside my mind, I was reeling for what it could possibly be. A new Yeerk weapon? Some kind of third party? ...Another one of Crayak and the Eliminist's mind games? None of the options sounded that great, but I knew I had to check it out. Flapping my wings slightly, I headed towards the massive robot.

Shotaro gave up punching the Autobot, shaking his hand as hit hurt. "So... What are you?" Shotaro asked the robot.

It started out low, but it soon rose to a loud scream.

...aaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

And then there was a crater off to the side where everyone else was.

Bowser, the Koopa King, was once again a Challenger.

The droid looked at its gun. Droid always died, one would never survive the onslaught of what caused that crater, taking the other gun off its back the droid smiled at it, "We may survive this day yet."

It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble.

"And now we have a telepathic hawk. What's next? Aerius springing to life again? What is this place?"
