Rules: The Boring Bit

• Please keep the micspam down (or at least tasteful, not a staticy mess)
• Sexism, racism homophobia and all related slurs are a BIG no-no.
• Spawn-trapping - don't do it. It ruins the fun for everyone who isn't spawn-camping.
  • Further to the above, as spawn trapping is a subjective issue it is defined here as making an active effort to prevent the enemy leaving their spawn room, or placing defences to do such rather than the objective.
• Murder of any admin or moderator is an offence that leads to an instant perma-ban.

Well, so Color Printer and I are currently playtesting the EU server (Considering he has pretty low ping, you may not even need more, please get even more playtesters from more areas, thank you very much).

The nominate system either doesn't work, or we are doing something wrong. In fact, even the in-game vote doesn't work.

Just thought I should let you know.

May have found the problem with nominations

Okay try nominations now. Also, going to join the server, but only spectating (I haz no mouse.)

Also, we already has EU server. It's the only one up right now.

Nominate is now working on the EU server. Type /nominate and then a map, e.g. "/nominate cp_granary" into chat and then it'll be put in an end-of-round vote.

Ah, same here. My vote is for Chicago, and imma go try the EU server.

The EU server is doing apparently well for some.

300+ ping was surprisingly playable.

That aside, I think the rotation needs more maps.

I would personally prefer Florida since I'm on the East Coast, but I suspect Texas, might work better for being a bit more centralized. So I vote for Texas.

Also, like with Color Printer the ping wasn't too bad on the European server.

So...for complete newbs like me, how do you connect to the EU server (and the US one when it eventually comes up)?

I just added the IP to my favourites list. It'll prompt you for the password once you try to connect.

I just went through the full server list and looked for the IP (after sorting it by IP) :/

Well, I'm glad I got 24-slot.

That was fun. Would be more fun if we could get more people playing, but it was still pretty cool.
