Hey look! A 3DS exclusive that actually looks awesome!

Although admittedly i have more fond memories of the PS 2 shinobi game than the revenge of shinobi cartridge i still have lying around somewhere.

Return of the ninja Master > Revenge of Shinobi, seriously.

Glad to see this franchise still going.

Graphics look a bit sad tbh

This will be the first time I'ved touched anything shinobi related in years, though it was only the PS 2 game, though.

Excuse me, I need to celebrate loudly outside.

So, Joe's father Jiro dresses mostly like his son, with the exception of that Hotsuma-inspired Scarf of Asskicking. With that whole "A successor will be decided" line, does that means this is going to be a Death by Origin Story to set up Joe in the original games?

And what's with that scoring system? Does it mean anything besides points towards a 1-Up?

Anyway, it looks quite good. I may have to add this to my growing list of justifications for buying a 3DS.

Score attacks are pretty common for this sort of game... still looks like N64 graphics. Maybe it looks better in person?

I bet theres gonna be online leaderboards, or then the points could be used as money/EXP between levels.

Or both?

I wouldn't be surprised if achievements were of the "reach nigh impossible score in all levels" kind.

I don't like these graphics either...:(
