The laughter quite reminds me of Titus Andronicus' turning point.

I'm a skeptical squirrelI just saw it as burial imagery. Walt's built this house of cards and now he's just waiting for it to fall on top of him.
Total horror moment as well. Terrifying.
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.I don't see why Ted's death is a copout. If he had lived, by the end of the episode it'd hardly be a concern anyway. It was basically a red herring, to make you think it'd be a huge deal for the next episode, but by the end things fall apart so rapidly the IRS isn't even on their radar anymore.
DumboCalling it before the episode ends: Walt really did poison the kid to pin it on Gus and get Jesse on his side.
EDIT: Or I guess I should say, before the season ends, instead of jumping the gun like a crazy person. Still, I wouldn't highlight it in case I'm right.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. At Television Without Pity, the forumites were discussing how Brock got poisoned. What it boiled down to was that the timing and logistics made it difficult to believe that Walt or Gus intentionally poisoned the kid. Which led to a third theory, that Brock got curious about smoking and filched the wrong cigarette.
I missed the part of the episode before the title screen. What happened?
Well, I'm glad that Walt's becoming more assertive again. It's been too long.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."Apprently I'm not even close to being the only one who thought Jesse was correct. Feel really silly now.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I was thinking that it was just a dumb accident too.
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.According to Jesse the timing doesn't add up for Brock to have knicked it himself. Its all way to convoluted for me to be certain how it happened.
I thought the end of the episode with Gus suddenly becoming suspicious was total horseshit. Gus and Mike being completely on top of everything is starting to feel a bit Marty Stuish.
I'll believe it if the next episode convinces me. The major problems are, 1). How did Walt get the cigarette and 2). between getting abducted by Gus's goons, driven out to the desert, racing to Saul's to get the vacuum sales-cum-relocation guy and racing to his house to find the money then moving his family in w/Hank, when did he have time to poison the child.
According to the description of the season finale, "Walt makes an unexpected ally; Walt and Jesse team up on Gus."
Unexpected ally = Mike
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."N Ot everything happened right after each other, there were those two time skips. I figured he did it during the first one, and we'll see how next episode.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Unexpected ally = Wendy? Hector? Gretchen? Skinny Pete?
Season finale in a half hour.
This season ended too soon
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."HAHA, GUS! TAKE THAT ASSHOLE!
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."That episode made me happy.
Until that final shot.
Walter, you magnificent bastard of an asshole, you.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."Hooooooly sh—! Of course this is what comes of blood for blood.
A love that crushes like a mace.To be honest, Gus walking out with his face blown off was kind of unrealistic. It seemed too... Comic-booky for Breaking Bad.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."Fucking called it! So did everyone else, and I was only half right, but yeah!
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Shit. Shit. Shit. Wow. Fuck.
Title wasn't kidding.
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.Walt has a Light Yagami moment of a different sort.
Also, I can't believe I was right about the unexpected ally being Hector.

Gentlemen, I think we should have a candlelight memorial for Gus, the man who died Classy.
IN MEMORY OF GUSTAVO FRING

"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."I truly expected his face to do a Robert Patrick thing and re-form.

I'm a skeptical squirrelNot that I didn't love the finale or anything, but how exactly did Walt poison the food of a boy he's only ever met once in passing?
Oh, an interesting theory that I found on the TV w/o Pity forums:
Man, I sure hope so.
