This Animation Age Ghetto element seems oddly weird to me as it feels like it came out of nowhere. I mean Oan reviewed We Are The Strange and though he didn't think it was that deep, he didn't fault its problems as do to animation. And yes I know these comments are in character, but it does seem kind of weird.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.I think the dig at animation is just In Character humor. c.f. his review of Jubilee, where he is about to reference League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but says he won't because "that would mean admitting that I read comic books", which then cuts to him reading an iissue of the comic, then looking surprised being caught in the act, and quickly throwing the commic away.
I knew it was IC humor but thanks for pointing out a similar instance.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Anyway, I'm off to join my fellow bronies to give him the death of a thousand hooves. *
I haven't seen Utena, but I personally think Wolfs Rain is the best example I've seen of animation being treated as a work of art.
Wolfs Rain yeah...
Now I want to see Oan try to understand NGE and EOE.
To Be Updated when I'm not LazyOan, your tears are delicious.
I'm a skeptical squirrelOne of my favorite DiamandaHagan/BrowsHeldHigh review, Freaks, is up on TGWTG.
If you are unfamiliar with Hagan and are a fan of Oancitizen, this is excellent place to start. It gives a good indication of her writing and mannerisms.

I wish I liked Hagan more than I do, really. There's such potential, but I can never watch one of her reviews without being bored five minutes in, and I keep on watching mostly because I don't like leaving things unfinished.
Can't stand her. She's an Overly Long Gag wrapped in a boring show wrapped in Kefka makeup.

I'm a skeptical squirrelI just love her because I'm a sucker for an evil Large Ham lady.
The Bruno Mars ending was a great touch.
The Philosopher-King ParadoxI rather wish he hadn't pulled the slacker style the whole way through. It made it a little hard to watch, and because of that it detracted from the analysis he made... which I think has some really valuable parts to it.
Alienated from one another, latching on to ideas, becoming "idea people" uninterested in the "real"... particularly after spending pretty much the whole day reading a blog about dumb posts on DA, that seems pretty damn accurate.
8:05.
And a million fanfics were written...I liked the Slacker review, it's another consept review, and it's not like it's supposed to be a completely new direction for the show.
I think that The Man Who Fell To Earth was the better concept episode, but this wasn't a bad episode.
Well obviously. That episode is more or less the best episode of any review series on TGWTG.com the whole year. Number two for me is Cinema Snob's Cannibal Holocaust.

Angels in America is finally up on TGWTG.
My all time favorite review before The Man Who Fell To Earth came along. Just a very well-researched, well done, poignant review.

That wasn't a review, that was a commercial.
Pretty much.
Oh, and I wasn't crying by the end of the video, it's just raining on my face.
The rain happened to be the tears from my face.
Well, no, not really. I don't cry. I'm too manly to feel pain whether physical or emotional. But then the joke doesn't work.
I'm not even in Finland...
Judging from their twitters, we might be getting a crossover review of Freddy Got Fingered from him and the Chick.
Revolutionary Girl Utena.
And a million fanfics were written...
