It looks interesting. I don't know.
Star Wars Minus Star Wars

Absolutely incredible. It must have been a nightmare to assemble, and it's a little scary just how many works of the past and future one can recognize in it. Star Wars is all over everything.
(I recognize a Halo 4 clip I pointed out to Kyle on Twitter. )

The recognition of the tropes at work and recreation of the themes was absolutely brilliant.
| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |Really enjoyed that video and a lot of his videos that I've seen on his youtube page. I keep trying to find his older ones(specifically his Melancholica review), but the "best" I can find are still image videos that link to some Russian site.
(V)(;,,;)(V)His earliest review on his channel so far is Mister Lonely, the one just after Melancholia. Apparently he's been having to rework a lot of them to appease Youtube copyright bots.
He try other sites?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.No. Todd has hosted some on Vimeo for now, but Kyle has said on Twitter that it's Youtube or bust and that eventually Screenwave will go the way of Blip.
Awhile back, he reuploaded the Star Wars mins Star Wars vid. This time with annotations!
Screenwave is gonna go down like Blip? What might this mean for Channel Awesome?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Does Kyle have, like, proof for this, or is it just general pessimism?
Like.
If Kyle genuinely thinks that, okay. If there's some evidence or trends in the market, yeah, could make some sense. It's good for Kyle to try to see where the wind is blowing to keep ahead and all that.
But.
I dunno.
Depends. How many CA members are on Screenwave? Just Doug and...
Might be pessimism, but Blip was way bigger than Screenwave is, and if it couldn't sustain itself then Screenwave has an uphill climb.
Well, You Tube now gives people who bring in big views legal help with copyright claims, so it's probably not a huge issue anymore for him.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. And yet Team Four Star have yet to get all their videos back up.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?First, their videos are back up.
Like.
You literally could have checked before posting.
Second, youtube only does it if they think there's actually an airtight, textbook case to be made for fair use. And Team Four Star literally uses another company's animation footage and sometimes music.
Like. They're in an extremely gray area and they know it. It doesn't how matter how many views they get, there is a significant likelihood that if they went to court they would lose.
Of course, now TFS's DBZ abridged series is being monetized by Toei, so that should be an end to it.
I mean. I thought what I heard about Screenwave was that it works differently than Blip did? Like, it's just a player. And an ad provider. It's not a website or database or server or anything.
And, like.
Screenwave also seems like they work with youtube and have youtube partners anyway.

Wait, they're ALL back up?
Excuse me while I go celebrate by binging all their episodes again.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? Some of their vids never got taken down to begin with.
The vids that were taken down have been back up for a week already.

I was on vacation until yesterday, and I didn't get back until last night. I'd appreciate you don't talk down to me, ma'am.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? You had internet access when you made that post.
Youtube's interface is probably easier than TV Tropes' is.
It's not like the current status of Team Four Star's vids on youtube is some unknowable thing in an ancient lost text in the library of alexandria or something. It's google-able.
...I mean, sorry for being condescending, but.
...Basic easy fact checking is becoming a bit of a pet peeve.

Last I heard from a quick search through about 10 pages of the DBZ Abridged thread, someone said "oh hey they're back!" and then went back to say "whoops, never mind". I've been doing things with my family that are keeping me from looking, Miss Unnoun.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Googling TV Tropes, entering my username and password, going to a thread, clicking the "add a post" button, typing what I want to say. These are things that take about as much time as looking up incredibly popular youtube playlists.
...I mean, do you get all your information from TV Tropes? Because. Like. Don't do that.

unnoun, enough. You are being rude. May we move on?
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.
Kyle's next incoming project. On Twitter he's been making lots of requests of "things of Star Wars that aren't Star Wars", like "Death Stars that aren't the Death Star" or "Obi-Wans that aren't Obi-Wan".
Anyone know why his review of Shame is missing? I think he might've deleted it.
