A good way to sum up both the review and the movie.
No time to watch it yet, but it's been a while since I had that "oh god I hope he'll say good things about it" dread.
He mentioned he liked it back in "My Favorite Movies of 2012". Of course, opinions evolve and all.
@Tucker Yeah, I was talking about both.
The Scottish joke was my favorite part.
I still need to see Pacific Rim...
Looking for some stories?A lot of these came out late this year. Probably because of "Oscar season" but it's good to see the Oscar hopefuls this year are actually films worth looking into.
Also, YUSS, MECHAS PUNCHING MONSTERS.
I really want to see Frozen now (okay I did before too).
So on his Twitter Kyle says he'll be taking a hiatus from the series until March. Minus one planned crossover with Some Jerk With a Camera.
He hasn't graduated yet, has he? This smells of "final project".
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Ooh, that sounds interesting. I just recently started watching Some Jerk With A Camera's videos, and I love how unique they are. (And I'm impressed how he managed to get a Weird Al cameo in one of them )
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. What would they do, though? Escape from Tomorrow, maybe?

Looking for some stories?Almost definitely Escape From Tomorrow. I can't think of any other area where their subject matters meet.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. That sounds interesting. That'd be an interesting thing to look at.
The only other things I can think of would be looking at the artistic endeavors of Disneyland, like something about the Imagineering team or the Carousel of Progress.
And that reminds me, I'd love to see someone (anyone, really) do an in-depth video about the 1964 World's Fair. (Someone who isn't They Might Be Giants, at the very least, for once.)

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.So Kyle has revealed on Twitter that he's just finished filming a new episode, which he warns is "my most disgusting episode ever." He later added: "Full disclosure, it's not the movie that's all that disgusting. More something I do on camera. Just giving fair warning." And apparently it's going to involve these Noodle Implements.
I'm afraid...

It also involves a menu. None of this can add up to anything good.
My guess: it's either La grande bouffe or The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover.
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!Turns out it's the latter. Here's the title card.
Ven's comment below does not reassure me in the slightest...
The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, Her Lover

I can't help but imagine The Room with that alternative ending.
... Wow. That ending.... That FUCKING ENDING...
DAMMIT VEN WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE THE FUNNIEST PART OF THE WHOLE THING

@Tucker So that was interesting, confusing, but interesting.
