Read it read it read it read it read it and wriggle in anticipation with me!
P.s. the anime is loyal to the manga, and even contains most of the content from the manga, but events don't happen in exactly the same order, and now the manga has surpassed the anime.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. When I read the word "wriggle", I actually saw Pabu.
Will read after I speed-rewatch FMA. I've a bad feeling that FMA is going to be like Sound of Music, which I get the (uncontrollable) yearning to rewatch on an annual basis.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.Caught up, now that's a heavy chapter. We don't discover a lot but it brings up a lot of things at once.

I wrote a WMG about it. I could be wrong though. Since that would be pretty crazy. Of course, even if it's true, that doesn't really tell us anything else.
Anyway, outside of speculation, there is a certain livejournal with translations for chapters that have not been officially translated yet. Not the manga, just the dialogue, so it isn't nearly as good as having the pictures. But, plot relevance happens: We find out that the technique that Reiko used for the Book of Friends is completely forbidden among exorcists. You aren't supposed to use an ayakashi's real name to make a contract, since that ayakashi cannot disobey a single word and can be easily killed if their page is crumbled. Even exorcists consider it inhumane. Oh, Crap! ensues on Natsume's part. Natori doesn't know what the Book of Friends is, but he knows that it is something Natsume is hiding from him because he is an exorcist, something that Natsume himself shouldn't have. He and his shiki will be watching Natsume like a dieter watches the Food Network....or something.

Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comToo bad many chapters still haven't been scanlated in English, so.
The season 3 box set and also the seasons 1-2 box set look really great, but I purchased a DVD from Malaysia with all four seasons on Ebay for less. No art book or fancy case, but all four seasons.
The novel will be exciting if it is ever translated!
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Well the 13th volume just released in North America, so it seems were just a few months behind the Japanese releases.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Is there a site somewhere which list which anime episode correspond to which manga chapter?

Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.I wonder if Nyanko-sensei uses the toilet. And I wonder if he flushes.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.And if he does use the toilet, would he come walking out with a bit of toilet paper sticking to a back paw?
i. hear. a. sound.I demand artwork.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I figure youkai likely use any food they take in as fuel for spiritual energy.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comIt's true that Nyanko has a lot of spiritual energy.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Ya, I'm rewatching the series and looking over his character. His neko form can be see by all humans at all times, and even heard speaking, plus he way that spiritual burst that comes out of his forehead, and his true form.
I was also thinking of the chance that it really is all in Natsume's head but Nyanko sensei being heard talking by other human's in the fourth episode*, along which other small events effectively throw that theory out.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comSorry for the double post but I saw this video, It's in Japanese but I found it very interesting. It's about how Yuuki based Natsume's town after the region she grew up in and has some beautiful and stunning comparison between the anime's art and the actual locations.
Chapters 58/59: I must not be the only one who wishes Touko-san/Tanuma/Taki had been kidnapped by that pot-ayakashi. Actual development, please, Monster of the Week is getting kind of boring.
Maybe not Tanuma since he and Natsume have already rescued each other more than once, even though their bromance is nice and all too seldom developed. Maybe Nishimura, Kitamoto, or Shigeru-san. Then his list of Secret-Keeper s would just get enormous.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I'd like to see a bit of something with Shigeru-san. He needs more face-time.
i. hear. a. sound.Entirely true. He had that one focus episode, but the Kitsune took it over.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.My favorite characters are Natsume's guardians.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.x4
I actually enjoy it, as MOW and it's kinda that type of show, little grows of over arching plot but it's mainly a character drama. Bleach and Supernatural are two shows I can think of who made the mistake of moving away from that. SPN kinda saved itself (by going back to MOW periodically), Bleach just spiraled into disappointment.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I need a little help fellow Natsume fans, although it says Madara/Nyanko Sensei's true form is an inugami on TV Tropes, I can't seem to find any credible internet source that says he is an inugami. I've been looking for this official information to prove he is an inugami to people who say he is a kitsune or an Okami (a wolf yokai), do you think you guys can help?
I should start reading the manga. This is one of the handful of animes whose seasons I consistently watch and finish.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.
